You'll want to go for composers. Hans Zimmer. Basil Poledouris. John Williams. Or less known but also awesome groups of composers. These are some of the people who make music for trailers: Immediate Music. X-Ray Dog Magic Music Box. E.S. Posthumus ...
So here's a few EPIC songs. Crimson Tide as performed by Nightwish This one is called Love and War by Immediate music. The accompanying AMV is utter crap compared to the music. And compared to anything else... Pompeii by Posthumus. I know. Not really "songs". But still epic.
