Anyone think there is a chance they might do the same with Earth and Beyond?

I mean honestly TSO was never anything I could stay in long term.  I understand that "The Sims" is a huge IP for them.  Yet this game already failed once.

So any arguement they had against E&B would equally apply to TSO or the new name (this news was over on gamespot.com/new if you wonder wtf I'm talking about).

In fact if you register before a certain date you can get your old toon and "all your stuff" back.  Obviously this only applies if you played previously.

Sorry for the random post... its just I would actually subscribe to E&B but never to TSO.

Oh and the new name is..

EA Land... and its looking to be their move toward the microtransaction idea.  You have to subscribe for some features tho.

As a customer I don't have to know how to make a better game than you. I just need to know where the cancel button is.

Looking at the EA-Land website made me feel like a little kid. Too many primary colors and such.

I recall there being virtual prostitutes/sex slaves in TSO, I read some article about it a while ago. It's kind of funny. I wonder if those people were just roleplaying or under mind control...
