i hate it so much when i buy an MMO only to find i have a 4gb+ download to go thru. i only have 5gb a month and last time i played LOTRO it was near 8gb download
anyone know a way around this or how big the download is now? |

6.44gb I think to download then the updating is a bit too. Check any old PC mags for the client, then just update it? |

none of my mags have it (or any MMO clients). 6gb is quite a lot...i might get it done by the end of this week if i do it nonstop.

Originally posted by Death1942Yeah, if you install from off the DVD you're looking at about 8GB total. If you start off with the trial client... it seems to be closer to 6GB. So, if you could get a buddy to burn you the trial client onto a DVD to start from... that might be as "small" as you'll get. (This is assuming the High-Def. client... if you go the low-res. client you could shave off a GB or two).
