Get a wireless mouse then so it's easy to switch the mouse from right to left depending on who is using it.

 

If she's ambidexterous though it shouldn't be a problem. I taught myself to write with my right hand in college because I had six hour lectures and my left hand would cramp up.   I also type about 70+ words per minute so I get along just fine with a standard keyboard.

 

It's very thoughtful that you are trying to accomodate her.

Wireless mouse are great, untill the battery runs out. Worse than lag death as you either a. run around the house looking for spare batteries or b. drop it in the charger, trying to get a bit of juice out of it so you can use it till you get to a "safe" spot!

I'll stick to being tethered to my computer.
