Your past posts show that you are a WAR Fanboy anyway so I will chalk it off as BS. I will be playing at launch either way. |

My past posts.. check them again I never posted anything positive about WAR. I dont even like WAR, but you can call me an Aion, TCoS, Jumpgage fanboy. I posted positive things about those. sry m8 but if you pretend on knowing something, try and do your research first cause you failed. |

Originally posted by AmazingAveryThe wording here is very very deliberate. You can almost read the subtext too. You rarely see the "G" word in the mmo business. Hell, Blizzard wouldn't guarantee WOW or BC until the product was in the store! :) Anyway, I don't think the issue is bugs. Bugs happen. There are bugs in every game and they occur all the time. I don't think bugs make or break a launch UNLESS they are huge game breaking bugs. People are quick to forget the bugs WOW had at launch----remember the looting bug where you got stuck kneeling; or the gryphon bug where you wouldn't take off but could run around riding a gryphon? They were horrible bugs and very irritating but didn't break the game. If AOC launches with these types of bugs, sure, not a problem. However, the concern should be broken systems. I can tolerate bugs but not things that are broken. I would rather AOC launch with something missing than launch with something broken. All we can do is remember that there are 2 months of beta left and hope and pray for a great game and have faith in Funcom to give us a great game. |

I agree people have forgotten what a normal launch is like because Vangaurd was horrible and both LOTRO and Burning Crusade were both nearly flawless. I remember still getting the looting bug in WoW all the way in august when the game launched in December. I cant wait for when we get to hear things are like from beta testers. Based on what we have heard and seen so far I think the game will be just fine for launch with a normal amount of bugs and balance issues. If it weren't going to make the May 20th launch I think someone would have broken the NDA and made a big deal about it. For now I'm waiting it out and will probably pre-order once we get a better idea of how things are. |

"Easy" only equals "better" for crack addicts and MMORPG developers. |
I think the game will release May 20th. One way or the other there will be ppl finding n picking at every little issue n blowing it outta proportion. N there may be some bugs. But they have put themselves up against the wall now, I feel it is do or die time. They have started the ad campaign. Right now...we will see what happens, sending out a total buggy unfinished game after years of development will hurt the company as a whole. |
