For 32 bit I'd go XP all the way. Sorry but Vista 32 bit is just a plain waste of money IMHO. If you got 4gb of ram and a 64 bit cpu I would take Vista 64 over XP 64 especially because Vista 64 now has just as good if not better driver support for newer hardware then XP 64. Overall if you are patient and can wait for 2009-2010 to come in then pick up Microsoft's next OS which is set to debut within that time frame. Basically it'll be what Vista should of been and what Microsoft promised and then took out of Vista. XP is more then enough to hold you over until then if you don't want or need a 64 bit OS and don't have 4gb or more of ram. |

I still use XP. Personally, I won't even consider Vista for another year at least unless MS pulls off a miracle between now and then. |
