umm i would like somethin somewhat like KOL, and p2p is no problem. really would like it to have awesome graphics and most of all a sweet combat pvp system that u and ur clan can prevail in. (if u have ever played KOL i bet u know what im talkin about) and also i want there to be skill involved and not just who has played the longest. would like it to be PARTY FRIENDLY so u can grind with ur friends and not always alone. also somethin i always liked was Mages so i hope the game has a cool AOE system to it and not all one guy vs one creature crap all the time.

PLZ anything u know that u believe i may like would be greatly appreciated b/c ive played most of the free games, and am afraid of playing the p2p games without any good reccomendations, to find i dislike em and wsted my money...

games i would think we be a good comparison to that shows the type im lookin for is CABAL, KNIGHT ONLINE, MAPLESTORY, and a combat system like RAKION. (just quit these cause they were hacked a lot, everyone maxed lvl, got bored of...)

I would definately give Anarchy Online a shot. Group based open world PvP is sweet (although I stopped playing a while after the Alien Invasion expansion, dunno how much has changed), every character is individual since you actually control your stat points, grinding missions is actually fun with a group, arena PvP (twinkzone) is awesome if you end up with some extra cash and would like to build a twink...the list goes on. The core game is f2p now, and if you want the expansions it becomes p2p. At least give the core a shot to see if it interests you. This was my first MMO, and still my alltime favorite by a longshot. The community was awesome (ingame and forums), although, like I said, I haven't played for at least a year, so I'm not sure how much has changed. Can't hurt to try tho =)

AO is a great MMOG by one of the best - Funcom. Funcom's next also centers around new combat systems and guild PvP with land capture, city building, everything you seem to ask for, including the amazing graphics. :) It's coming out in late may, not to far. Enough time to really check it out and see if it's what you would enjoy. :D

Since he said "awesome graphics", I would say Anarchy Online is out of the way ^^

I would suggest Guild Wars. Graphics are pretty amazing. And it has good grouping, and involves skill (at least it's not gear-based).
Although, beware, GW is a rather particular MMO (lots of instancing for example), it's not mainstream at all.

No official trial also, only buddy keys. :S

OK, AO is receiving a graphical buff, but if he was to wait for late May, he might as well give Age of Conan a try first ^^
