Untrue, not only are they stylish, polarized and UV protective; they help me see further in life, as well as, give me the ability to judge potential and merit past an initial launch date.

* I do not need to know how to make a better game than you. I just need to know how to cancel my subscription. -Antarious(a slight misquote but the sentiment remains)

Basicly, the determing factor was that certain formerly large announced innovative features got dropped completely, while others got watered down towards release. Also, the game feels way too much like tailored to a gaming console (like i.e. heavily zone based and restricted world design to meet the technical abilities of the Xbox, joypad adapted controlling and abbreviated content to not ask too much of the console kids).

I'm also member of a huge and well established 8yrs old MMORPG multigaming guild in which several veterans as well canceled due to their beta impressions. Decisions which of course were not bug related, but rather about what they think is a poor direction the game is taking in certain points in general.

That makes 5 more out.

I'll make you a summary for quick consumption.

"I thought the game would be in a certain way and have certain features. My expectations were not met. I will not buy the game".

First of all the guy you just quoted experienced the game. Unfinished perhaps, incomplete yes, but he had a personal experience of what he was getting into. He made his choice for himself. And his choice I believe is respected.

How many people rely on second hand experiences to make up their own choices?

After my preorder of Lord of the Rings on line, I will never ever ever  preorder again. Surely nothing can be as bland unimaginative and barren as that pile of dross. £100 life membership and £30 for the game. I felt lucky to get £50 off EBay for it.

There are loads of MMORPG's I want to try, but WOW simplified things so much anything that takes half a brain to play now is too much trouble. I just hope War hammer on line does the job, then I won't feel compelled to go back to WOW and my three 70s and 23k gold. I feel guilty leaving it to just do nothing, but after three years I'm crying out for a new game.

D&D on line I believe is not up to much either, I almost got caught out again in the hype.
