 I played the beta and all I can recall is running around and shooting things.  Thats fine but i just want to know what else can you do in this game now. I keep reading that crafting is pointless, is it? Is there player housing or new features that I have missed since beta.

   I am on the verge of buying this game or resubing to Vanguard. Help me decide.

But no, crafting is non-existent. And it is a lot of shooting around, unless you go with one of the Specialists that rely more on Logos.  Some people don't craft until they have a higher level clone to use since crafting uses the same precious skill points that combat does.  You can make armor dyes, improve armor and weapons but if you're a crafter you will be sorely disappointed.  NC Soft claims that a total revamp will be coming for crafting, but no eta has been given.

Its not perfect, I won't tell you that its the second coming, but it is what it is - a 3rd person online rpg, with a cool enemy, cool environments, armors and weapons.

If you played TR in the beta then don't buy it (yet). It's pretty much the same as it was (with a few bugfixes/skill changes and character models). The crafting is entirely useless and the content at level 50 is also non-existent. Many of us who played at launch and subsequently quit are in the process of waiting to see if the devs turn the game around, but as it stands it's a deeply flawed game.

Thank you. I have ben trying to figure out what I want to play for like a month now. I have played LOTR, EQ II, WOW, Matrix, EVE, POTBS, Roma victor (still active), COH/COV, DDO (trial), AO (still playing free acount)  and many more, to many to list. 

  I have read about some of the changes for the new patch and it got me wondering if I should try this again. I found a copy of it for 14.99 but have not got it yet so thank you very much for the key. I will try it out again and if I like it I will go pick it up today.

I was curious about AO is it worth the DL? I have an active account in TR and it 's fun but as stated there are some pretty big flaws in the high lvl content and crafting is still in the state you left it in beta minus a few minor tweaks if that.

AO is cool if you can get past the EQ1 sttyle graphics. (new graphics ENG due in may) I played it then left and came back a few times ( free acount) this last time I came back I realy started to get the hang of it and have played it a little more.  In the end you cant beat it for free. Might as well try it out. LVL up a guy and be ready for the new Graphics in May. That when I will decide if I P2P.

I say for 14.99 why not give it a shot .for the free 30 days that come with it . I say it is worth looking at again .
