I am looking for some good OPEN!!!!!! pvp rpg's... not like Guild wars or LOTRO where the pvp is instanced, or even WoW where you have those lame teams... I'm lookin for a hardcore MMO with death penalties, pvp looting, and open pvp. |

Yeah gl with shadowbane. Nobody plays, and its completly hard to udnerstand. They dont give any tutorial what so ever. I downloaded it and it was terrible... |

That's not the real issue for me on SB, rather it's the community. Now, in multiplayer FPS titles like TF2 there are jokers, but on SB they have them by the truck load. And often they seek to make your displeasure their treasure (as in they really do want to piss you off). That, in itself, is what killed SB for me and not the counter-intuitive UI. Once you get past the UI, it's a fairly nuanced game, but the players are not so as I stated prior. And I'd much rather take a single joker in TF2 any day over the retards they call the 'elite' in SB. -- Brede |

Why? What you want is pointless. Open PvP should be a byproduct of the world's balance not something you say I want this gimme. You've pretty much already defeated yourself because there is no game like that and NEVER will be. sure there will be lots of MMO's that are open PvP with looting and maybe even skill loss. but there will never be the FFA PvP game where you just kill other players for the sake of killing. |

Vanguard, last I played, has a FFA pvp server.
Hope you bought your computer at NASA... Oh and their PvP has no development or support. There is no organized pvp built in the game, though city raiding was fairly popular. Classes are not balanced around PvP, so balance was a huge issue when I played. |

Your second sentence: You want not just open (undefined)? You want death penalty and pvp looting. Then you should not list LOTRo, LOTRo is a PVE game mainly. There is EVE, there are PVP servers in many games from EQ2 to VG. There are the PVP driven asian games (some grinders, some less). I do not see why you have to post here to tell us that you are looking for "OPEN" pvp games. |

May want to try DAOC. The frontiers is open and huge. Classic servers really have a Lot of people on them thatmakes for good PvP
