Title says it all but the point I'm trying to make is that theres these little kids posting that the graphic's suck and look too much like WoW. Well guess what, everything you see about the game (screenshots and video) are all taken on low res/ low detail settings. That's the lowest of all low people by god learn some common sense already. My question to you is why would they put everything on the max setting during a closed beta when they are testing the network, bugs, and how stuff works? They don't want bug submittions because of client related problems that would probably be problems with the testers computer. So yea of course the game will look like WoW when its on the crappiest setting possible. I'm 100% positive it will look a hell of a lot better when its all in high res, max detail, max everything. /rant off |

I agree with you totally. People should check the videos that are recently posted. Class preview videos and such. The game look really good on that and people should start to judge the game by the videos rather than thoose low res screenshot. Also the style and art of the game seems coherent and really good so a big plus too. |

I have shared those sentiments, but realise that its a closed beta so you just have to hope it gets better. I have seen recent movies and its does look a lot better but still like wow... just in a higher resolution. Maybe you have to play the beta before you can accept the comments to be fairly accurate hense the protests? Not all "its like wow" comments are automatically inaccurate - you are just not contemplating the fact it may in fact be true, which is your bad. The chars don't look like the guys in wow because they are completely different templates... you look at the leaves and trees when you get chance, they look like the ones in wow in higher resolution... its doesn't bother me. Its gonna be a great game!

Oh well everyone has a opinion. My mates wont play WAR cause they say the graphics suck so they'll stick with WOW. I'll give a free trial a go and see if it's any good but wont be burnt by future mmorpgs again like I have been with lots of previous titles. |
