Am I the only one who just see's generic plastic ugly graphics with the most boring horrible looking character models with bad combat animations? Why can single player games have sooo much style and quality yet 99% of mmorpgs just look dated and horrible.

With the rate technology updates I would think it's easier for the devs of single player games to keep with those changes as those games on average usually take about half the time MMO's take to develop. If the developer of an MMO were to try and keep up with the rapid rate of tech changes, we would never see the release of one.
