I read that article when it came out. Overall it sounded awesome, but I still have trouble swallowing this guy's word.

I think a few screens of his character interacting in the world would've given some gravity to the post itself. Maybe a fraps of him pvp'ing the mage he talked about. Basically just something to prove to me a bit more that he actually was there, and played the game. Normally if you read an article like that they have screens of their character with some clever captions and such you know?

I didn't see him say that anywhere, but maybe I should re read it myself. I did however notice the Q&A part at the bottom this time which was kinda cool.

Try not to mystifie everything so much and have some trust in your fellow man.=)

Remember when you read this that Aventurine wont ask anything from you before you actually tried the game out. Sounds like a fair deal to me.=)

That's true =P

We'll just all have to wait and see, and hope for the best I guess.

I like the newest pics. Having played the game, I know how things come together and it's nice to see there are decent graphics that will go along with the action. This game will be worth it even just for the ships and the whole seas warfare part of it. It blows the recently released Pirates of the burning sea out of the water without sea combat being even the main focus. That's one of the reasons why Darkfall is taking so much time to be produced. You are basically getting three games in one. A ships/pirates game (better than any released up to date), a massive multi player NPC land game (much better than AoC, WoW, EQ, VG or others), a massive multi-player PvP, Pk conquest game- much better than the 6 years old SB and sadly no recent release to compare to. So, it's a very ambitious project but when it comes through everyone will be happy.

Something I noticed in the most recent pics. Looks like they have a consistent testing environment for internal alfa/beta testing with more players. Maybe they already have an internal test server. Which was supposed to happen in February. So, looks like things are on track.

As far as orcs looking like WoW orcs- it's like saying all Chinese look alike. I have had orcs in WoW and in Df an to me the faces looked different but is it really that important? How many players will look at their own or other avatar faces? Personally, I don't mind if they straight out copy orc looks from other games if it shortens the development and release time. [/QUOTE]

This is the visit where the guy was shown a 1 year old Tech demo and had to leave on Monday before they got the servers up for the "real build" because they were magically offline for some reason...

what a joke.. You can't even see the game if you fly all the way to fucken Greece.
