<quippy saying that makes me look witty & smart>

So what kind of play style will you adopt in terms of playing characters.

It seems people take many approaches to MMOs

I don't feel i have enough time to play too many characters.

My plan will be to play a few classes decide on a primary class to play and then give it most of my attention, likely making a few alts along the way to spice it up sometimes.

I've met ppl who only ever play 1 character, and i've met alt-o-holics who have many characters than never get past 25 or 30.

Personally I'm all for players getting what they want out of the game, however I do feel both ends of the spectrum misses out on some of the game exerpience.

Forum Poll

How will you play Warhammer

1 Char all the way to level cap, little to no alts thereafter
1 Char to level cap, with a few (2-3) alts trailing behind
1 Char to level cap, with many (4+) alts trailing behind
2-3 characters all reaching level cap around the same time
4-6 Chars all around the same levels, reaching level cap slowly
6+ characters never getting past lvl 25

Why must we as gamers bring real life into the games we play?

heya,

my thinking is to take a warrior class as high as possible to learn the game.

As warrior type classes are most likely the easiest to learn, then branch out into magic user classes.

thanks

No alts what so ever. It usually just turns out to be the "grass is always greener on the other side" syndrome.

Just airwalking.

"There''s a time and a place for everything, and it''s called college." - Chef

I tend to start playing a class which I find to be fairly fun to play, then I play it to around half the level cap and try another one. This time it tends to be a more "fitting" class for me and then I'll focus on this character quite much, but on the way of levelling I usually play a few other characters by the side. So when I reach the level cap with my "main" I usually got a few other alts that are mid-level, and then these are disregarded in favor of my main.

You can either agree with me or be wrong!

Im sorry, i cant help it - Im socially retarded.

I can understand people wanting to try out the differents careers... but to me - everyone has a play style that they enjoy and each career revolves around a different play style.

So i go find a character that works with my choice of playstyle for that game, and then i make it the best mo fo out there!

I only make alts if it will help my crafting OR if i have more playtime on my hands than required to have a kick ass main char.

Sup :D

I'll take one character all the way to level cap before starting a new character.

I'll take one to level cap and during the 'gearoung out' process i'll start a new alt. the alts usually serve a purpose though. trade skiller and bank storage generally. Also, sometimes some of the low end content in a game is the most fun. It's great to relive it every now and again for what it is.

I'm a healer by nature. but i also love the heavy armour so a paladin class is pefect for me from beginning to end.

Never got into a caster or rogue/thief class.

this is why alts come few and far between for me. ontop of not having enough time IRL between work/sleep/exercise for 2-3 characters.

thanks for reading

I like classes that can heal themselves.

Why So Serious?

I'll probably have several alts...im pretty flexible as far as toon play style...if I like a class I'll try it ... if I hate it I won't play it...I suspect I'll have 4 to 6 chars to work on but I'll have 1 main that'll be several levels ahead of the others most likely.
