Carolyn Koh gives us a quick look aat and her impressions of both the Razer Destructor Pro Mousing Surface and the DeathAdder Guild Wars Edition Mouse.

The Razer Destructor Pro mousing surface is the latest mouse pad offering from Razer. A hard surface, this mouse pad is larger than your average mouse pad and as it is a hard surface, is thinner than your average padded cloth mouse pad.

In order to develop this mouse pad, Razer called on pro-gaming teams for their help and the resulting product has earned their endorsements – which are printed on the product box itself. It is shipped in a beautiful padded case with a cut-out foam insert for easy transport to and from LAN parties and competitions. You wouldn’t want to accidentally bend this puppy!

I think it would be an upgrade for people who don't have the exactmat and are looking for 1 surface instead of 2 sides, an upgrade in my opinion.

I've both the Habu and the Exactmat and I don't want anything but Razer as my mouse(mat) of choice. Their products truly are a joy to use.

Who is John Galt?

I purchased the regular deathadder and I'm a little annoyed right now. I can't seem to bind the mouse button in regular games. It's like they don't recognize I'm pushing it. With my old MX mouse I was able to click the mouse button and would usually get something like "Are you sure you want to bind this action to MOUSE 4" or "...MOUSE 5" and with the Razer DA, games seem to not even recognize I'm pushing a button.

Strangely enough, Firefox is able to use them. It sounds to me like the driver is mapping fine in Windows, but when I enter a game, the mapping simply isn't there, or it's entering some other mode. I don't know, but it's annoying.

Anyone find a way to fix this issue?

UPDATE: I figured out what it was. I checked "Disable Xfire In-game". It's in the games tab in options.
