Recently, the MMORPG.com team had a chance to check out some of what's coming in Book 13's new area Forochel. In this feature, we present images of some of the new monsters that players will face.

Recently, the MMORPG.com team had the opportunity to get a sneak peek at the upcoming Book 13. This new free content update will introduce players to a new (and frozen) area known as Forochel.

Forochel itself is a cold and inhospitable place where even the elements themselves can sap a character’s morale. As if the biting cold and storms were not enough, Keith Cross managed to grab a few screenshots of some of the new monsters that will threaten characters as they move through this frigid area.

Oliphaunt would be much bigger and probably could not survive in such a harsh climate.

I have played today, after months not playing, and I don't like the last changes. PvPM seems much more laggy, fire and other particle effects are more fun.. but somewhat cheesy. I say this patch are adding chessiness to a game that used to be elegant.

I bet the new book will add new chessines and Conan-alike areas :I

and i havent noticed any increase in lag, and last i checked this waqs still on Test Center (as of last night) so unless they released it to live this morning, you are playing currently on a overburdened TC right now

book 13 is not live yet

No we're still on Book 12, Book 13 is due out this month.

Book 13 is on the Test Server  Roheryn ; it won't be live until closer to the end of this month.  However, if you download the test client (for subscription customers) you can play it now.
