Curious if any of the servers are considered "unofficial" anything?  In some mmo's, a server will be considered an unoffical RP server, or unofficial EU server, or East Coast server

also, what server would someone recommend to a new player?  Im looking at joining Thelanis and I live in the US on the east coast

My server, Khyber, is the unofficial pacific rim server... we have many Aussies on there which are typically a blast to play with.   We used to have a lot of Japanese as well, but I think they've kind of dwindled because Japan has their own servers now.

Argo has a different personality than the other servers because it was and has always been the largest server.   I can't call it a bad or good personality, just different.

Thelanis is the unofficial RP server.   Merlask/Tolero came from it or one of the servers that merged into it.

Risia is the unofficial ghost town server.

I've got nothing about Ghallanda or Sarlona.
