2x GFX cards and Ageia? Also i hear ageia my be incorporate in the future gfx cards so imo its no need to get one now. (also the best games don't use ageia.)

Seems bit overkill to me and yea your hd its to small 2x500G should do it since u get everything x2 :)

Since when does size have anything to do with speed?  Get two 10k RPM drives and put them in raid0.  Do some research, it's easy to find guides online.

If I have one 100G 7,200 RPM drive and on 1TB 7,200 RPM drive, they will run at exactly the same speed.

You should do some research actually. Today's larger hard drives such as Western Digital's 640 gb and the Samsung 1 TB drives are faster than raptors.

RPM is not the only thing that matters. There is quite a bit more to it. Don't believe me?

Here you go - techreport.com/articles.x/14380

To the OP, that system is way overkill, unless you are really swimming in cash, I suggest going for something cheaper. You can get a system that performs nearly as well as the machine you listed for significantly less.

If you are willing to build the computer, tell me your budget and I can price out some components, if you aren't I suggest looking at the dell XPS 630 - www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/xpsdt_630

The reason I'm getting this so soon is because my other computer which is old enough finally crapped out, and now I'm stuck using a friends, and I'm going through game withdrawls. So I don't want to spend the time ordering parts and having them come one at a time. I'd rather just get it prebuilt and come all shiney I new. I know I know, somewhat of a waste of money, but I even shopped around for parts, and there isn't much of a saving for what I want to get anyways. But from all the advice I got here I can probably bring the price down about 800 bucks from getting rid of one of the graphics cards as well as the agei card.

Thanks for everything, Still wanting to hear more, anything helps. Thanks to everyone thus far.

I agree yes the Raid0 will be faster as you are spreading the load accross 2 harddrives, but you can get 7200 RPM drives with 32mb of cache onboard now instead of 16mb's of cache.

If i was to buy Vista again i would go Home Premiumx64 as Ultimate is to fat it has all the business crap with it, domain controller, etc.. which is not needed for small network's in your home with only a few computers.

My system is 8 gigs of Kingston HyperX ram and Vista idles with 1% ram usage, but you go look and it is using 1gig of ram just idling there (page file is 16gb's since Swap is always and should always be 2x ram size)

These are my exact spec's no overclocking,etc..Ram is 800mhz but this system fly's no heat issues, once i fixed the few issues from initial vista install no blue screens or anything system is rock solid and the vista score is 5.6 (5.9 is highest)

AMD 6400x2 BE
M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wifi Edition
8 gig's of Kingston HyperX
250gb Seagate
Thermaltake Armor Case
Thermaltake 700 Modular PSU
EVGA 9600 GT KO
22" LG 3000:1 2ms Monitor
G15 Keyboard Logitech
G9 Mouse Logitech
G51 5.1 Logitech Speakers
Asus Sata 20x DL Burner
Ultimate x64 OEM

I've looked at dell, they are about 400 dollars more for a computer that's worse off. check out digitalstormonline.com Cheaper prices and better warranty to boot

After looking at resellerratings.com I guess digitalstormonline.com would be ok. But I would choose a cheaper computer than the one you had in your original post, its just not worth it having all that, complete overkill. Especially when you consider having 4 GPUs scales horribly.

I'm 90% sure I will only be getting a single 9800gx2 instead of the dual. I will be saving roughly 700 bucks so yeah that's a good deal, plus everyone so far has said there's no point on getting two, and if I want it's true I could jsut add in anothe rone later, I've put together computers before so I'd be okay, plus there's a good instructional manual on how to do it on the Nvidia site.
