Age of Conan

Well, as we all seem to be realizing at this point, a lot of people are having some issues with the game. Well some is an understatement... apparently a lot. Some are stating that their computers are running the game with good performance on a computer with min req., while others with brand new computers are being faced with performance issues...

I'm curious as to what is the cause of this, as I'm sure we all are. Apparently the game ran fine (for people with the right comp specs) during PvP weekend, and now the topics are being swarmed with people demanding insight as to why their completely tricked out computers are playing the game slower than a Commadore 64. It appears that nobody really can give any specific knowledge as to the cause of this, but like I said, I'm curious if anyone does... is it the fault of FC or are the people complaining just running bad setups? What's caused this issue that wasn't present (or at least as obviously present) in the PvP weekend? Is it general computer specifications or just certain ways the game was installed? Are there certain computer specifications that weren't mentioned on the AoC official website, as to why some computers that are 4 years old can run this compared to newer ones? And ultimately...

...is FC going to be able to improve this performance by release...? Is this just a test, a cause from this being the first day of open beta launch, or their faulty during creation? I want to see some fireworks (and most importantly, information) from the haters, lovers, and those in-between of this game, as long as someone has some basic info for the rest of the uninformed public. I would like to ask someone working from FC personally but they definitely aren't doing the best of job on informing us, apparently... if anyone can link a post where someone working at FC informs the problem it would be appreciated.

With mine I have great FPS, low med or high. But for some reason:

Loading takes forever and often just never completes

When I am playing I have screen freezes every so often ( 10 - 30 seconds apart ) that last for 3 - 10 seconds. It doesn't seem to be lag, it doesn't seem to be video, just stops ( everything but audio ).

Other than a beta that feels like a beta, the game looks and feels AWESOME :)

 Oh and I personally think it's the debugger that runs in the background of the client that is causing performance issues.

What's that, do I smell another Vanguard? Nah, too many rabid fanboys to let this thing sink. But... this should be familiar to anyone who played Anarchy Online. The game is nowhere near ready.
