I got an invite to beta a couple days ago.It wasnt the fileplanet deal it just said youve been invited to join the closed beta blah blah blah.So am i still limited to the 13 level restriction or is that only for fileplanet users?

Also ive noticed since the open beta allot of people jumped off the bandwagon and now theres allot of nergative buzz going around about this game.A couple weeks ago people were praising this game.If you gus could would you mind posting your complaints and the reasons your upset with the game so i can take a look myself.

I was a bit surprised how well this ran on my system on medium settings,my systems getting old.It runs smooth on  medium except a maybe a little hitch here and there but overall looking good.For those interested heres my specs so maybe you can get an idea,it seems you dont need a monster system to run the game.

e6400 oc'd to 2.6

EVGA 7600gtko pcie

2gb ddr2 5300

windows XP

So far im having fun with the game granted im only level 9 so i havnt seen much but it seems fresh and somrthing new.I love the animations and combat its different.Hopefully the game does well for the gaming community i hate to see games do bad its bad for everyone.I will be playing the game byut then agaoin i allways buy ewvery MMo that comes out and atleast give it  shot =).

All open beta is confined to lvl 13. and for me the game ran great until i hit a server boundary or chunking area..then i would lag out for a while

My only complaints with the game:

I felt confined to my character, and confined to the rose combat keys, it didnt hook me, and got a little monotonous. Instances were also a little bit of a let down, but i relize i was in the noob area still...but thats all i can judge atm with being in the open beta

Ok so its open beta then?I thought maybe the fileplanet users were on seperate servers becasue my invite said closed beta and said nothing of a level restriction.That kinda sucks...

ahh if your in closed beta, then there is no restrictions..i must have misread your original post..my apologies

Limited to level 13 restrictions with experience, to the public sorry.  But no restrictions on progression in game. If you notice only closed beta servers are on the list not fileplanet ones, proving a different client.  Re-read the email about what you can say :)

If you have the Fileplanet client, I enourage you to fire them both up and see the difference.

Exactly, PvP weekend was a pretty good success, it seems the negatives comments are still a minority. Mostly they come from people pissed about technical issues, or just one liners offering no substance to support claims. Or those thinking combat is just pressing 1,2,3 after 5 mins of play.. You know the misinformed and "want it now types".

Anyway, have fun in game, it runs for me pretty much as it does for yourself.

If you got closed beta invite I envy you. No level restrictions, a better client, and mounts and crafting are available to you.

sorry i got 3 toons to lvl 13, and the 1,2,3 system did feel confined to me...based on my lvl 1-13 experience.

there are two different betas at the moment.

The fileplanet "open beta" stress test, limited to level 13.

The closed beta, with no restrictions.

They are vastyly different experiences, in performance, bugs, stability, etc.

Ya my servers say closed beta...I never did the fileplanet thing.I got invited for the tech test a few weeks ago then they sent me a closed beta invite.So i guess i dont have max level of 13 thats nice to know i would like to experience as much as possible so i know what im doing when the game comes out.Having fun so far,hope everyone has fun with the game!
