2.67 core2duo,  2GB DDR2,   8600GTS 256 GDDR3.
I'm very interested to play AoC. Unfortunately i can't get to test any of the beta. I beleive this spec could run fairly on hunting boars but not really what i'm just looking upon. I'm a bit affraid it could be bad upon pvp with much effects.

The pen is mightier than the sword if the sword is very short, and the pen is very sharp.

Also make sure people tell you what drivers they are using. The December 07 drivers weren't great for me, the Beta drivers from this week (175.16) were decent and I am pretty sure the forceware drivers (175.63) were great...loads were faster, zoning was nice..but the server went down before I used them for more than 15 minutes..lol

I am running similar system, AMD dual core 3.0 ghz 2 gb dual channel ram and an 8600gt and i run on medium with 30fps and it still looks amazing, no complaints here, If your going for high end performance your gonna need a beast system and to upgrade what you got will cost you a hefty amount of cash, for me 8600gt is workin great im sure the gts runs just as well
