General Discussion

Hey guys.  If i get bored with age of conan, what should i go to?  Ive already played WoW and EQ2 and GW so none of those.  Is CoX worth it? or LOTRO?  or Lineage 2?  gimme some suggestions.

Nothing will please you.. So you probably should either go back to WoW since you have over 200 hours into it, or just play a different genre like FPS or RTS..

If you are looking for a game with great graphics, smooth gameplay, polished content, interesting quest lines, a mature community, a relaxed pace -yet content for the grinder in you, good dungeon crawls and a well balanced crafting system I think LOTRO is great!

if you are looking for an agressive "we pwn all" PVP community, or endless raid content or a power-gamer friendly enviornment then LOTRO will leave you very unsatisfied.  If you are looking for a major economy/crafter type game LOTRO probably comes up a bit short.

I have found LOTRO to be the perfect place for me over the past 4 or so months.  The dev. team is focused, very few if any wild swings of the nerf bat, steady stream of new content with a major expansion and 10 level cap increase coming in the fall.  Ive yet to experience a bug or a glitch and all content seems finished and well tested.  It's just a quality release at every corner.

From everything I hear and to some degree -limited experience- everquest two is a first rate game! with tons of content.

I suggest Origins server for DAOC coming in aug/sept. It will be cheap to get all you need to play and still is the best pvp/rvr ever IMO. I have never had more fun in the old times of DAOC. That my take on it anyways:)

I don't play CoH, only CoV... even having both... CoV is great to relax after work... great plot (and was unique) and villains are cool... hehe

but don't fool yourself, the game has bugs, like AoC... specially after each new issue (free expansions)...

LOTRO, my experience is not the best... after 2 months playing, a patch came to screw my game... never got a fix and canceled the account.

Lineage2, no clue.... never played... hehe

lol I'm an old DAOC school... which server/realm you used to play? I ran Illuminati on Albs/Guin for a couple of years... was the only active GM due to RL issues on the other friends...

Oo i was a member of COJ on mid/guin . I m sure we battles many times:) I hated you guys for the fun battles lol.

I was in the same boat you were.  Tried going back to Vangaurd... meh went back to City of Heroes/Villans SWEET!!!

I reccomend City of Heroes/ VIllans its so much fun and theres sooo many people playing especially on the Freedom Server.  They have added so many new power sets and archetypes its like a different game.

Also if you have never played it you owe it to yourself to play the 14 day trial.  The client only takes an hour to download.

HAHAHA yeah!!! all the bad pugs in NF... damn i miss that game... and hate EA for what it did...
