Just a question i have been asking myself i have a mammoth yes i know it's slow but damn, ppl can run as fast or faster then i can on this damn thing. So i went out and bought a horse i taught that would it would be alot faster than my mammoth please ppl still run along side me on my horse, are you kidding me? i spent 3 g so ppl can still reach the same place as me in just about the same time if not before me thanks to all the stopping these damn mounts do for no reason when running thanks to the system in the game.(btw) that 3 g toke be a while to get i mean not spending money on anything not even respecing but at lvl 60 i had enough for it. Boy the game currency in this game sucks but that's other post for another time. I know mounts can help you fight but when you do in end up fighting in the middle of the game world. So far in this game mounts has no real use other than a small ahh factor and that's it. |

They are not as slow as you make them out to be.. if someone sprints sure they will run alongside your horse that is not sprinting. Horse is at least 30% faster if not more. And I believe they are actually receiving a speed increase in the near future. |

uhhh, dude a mammoth is not a mount to make you run faster, read the damn manual, its for the battlekeeps when your guild is high enough and rich enough to have one. |

How could you not buy a horse when you can do stuff like this? I mean, I can see people buying the game itself for this kind of action... |

Unsheathing your weapons makes the horse go faster. That being said the mount speed is not as great as say WoW non epic mount, so don't expect great results. I was disappointed too when I bought mine. |
