Here is a wierd little nugget to speculate about.  Silius has come out of left field with this comment:

Actually there will be a portal to Norrath now that you mention it. As far as story goes lets just say that the story in Pantheon is part one of a bigger revelation about the game, its gods, and the ancients.

 

Maybe Silius is just teasing us.

I HATE SILLIUS! i want details now....it would BE AMAZING!

BUT i think it would be Vanguard's Norrath not the real EQ...still AMAZING.

FIRST... this statement was not made by Silius, just some nobody in the Vanguard forums making a humorous comment and wishful thinking. Go and read the original chat blog if you want clarification.

VANGUARD WILL HAVE NO CONNECTION WITH EQ2!!!

His comment regarding the Nexus was in reference to a new dungeon in development. Silius clearly states that the only dungeon content he was willing to comment on at this point was the "Pantheon of the Ancients" and "Nexus". I still have not seen any comment from Sony on the details of Nexus. If I do, I will be glad to post info here.
