Haven't visited the site in awhile, not since right before AoC launched.  Last i remembered was a lot of AoC fanbois boasting about the game and giving arguments like:

"It's only beta!  the lag and glitches and bugs are obv not gonna be in release its a diff client!"

"its only beta!  all this talk about the game not being finished and having no content in the upper levels is just doomsayers"

"funcom isnt doin anything sneaky by capping the public beta, its just marketing lol1!lol"

so since i have common sense, i avoided AoC like the plague and saved myself some $$$ because it was obvious this game was just unoriginal and was nothing but hype from day one.

  basically from what ive read and heard from friends who always buy the newest mmo was that the $50 or whatever would have been better spent if i hired a midget to punch me in the balls all day

oh and with some irony, those same fanbois back then would bash WAR and Darkfall at every chance...of course darkfall verdict is still out but there is definite signs of life (but to be honest any sane person can read the info out there and know its a real game and is comming out, how good it will be is another story).  And WAR would have to fail miserably to be worse than AoC.  And now i am remembering why i stopped checking out this forum...

Yeah I was excited about AoC at first but then I started to hear more and more things that I didnt like.... and friends in beta didnt like it......... Glad it wasn't a game to join my MMORPG graveyard.       Now lets hope WAR isn't going to dissapoint me cuz I really want to start a new game when everyone else is and not be like years behind most people. lol

I hope you realize that you are the sheep by not thinking for yourself and basing your decision to hate the game off of everybody else... completely contradictory to what you were saying.

I just knew two months before that AoC was junk. People read web sites and features and believe them. I just hope most of them are 10 years old, because if they there house there gonna get robed.  I told the fanbois a million times in every way a could and nothing.

Now will have to put up with there garbage on the Warhammer forum

Ya but he'd be even more of a sheep than if he listened to the fanboys and tried it.. He took sound advice by saving his money.. Give the game 9-12 months it might be alright but doubtful if this is what they came up with after  5 years..

well honestly for me I had the game pre-ordered the canceled because i wasn't sure if i wanted it.. bought the game about 2 weeks ago and i can safely say I haven't had this much fun playing an MMO since my first MMO( runescape haha) about 6 years ago. You really should just base your decisions on what you think. Forget the nay sayers and the fanbois just do you(umma do me) lol

 I can honestly say i saved money too. I got AoC and have been having a blast. Granted I'm a casual player, not one racing to level 80.
 

  AoC cost me $39.99, and of course the $15.00 monthly after first month. This is for say maybe 20 hours of fun a week. (Like i said fairly casual) In comparison a movie for me and my girlfriend is well over $20.00's for just 2 hours. Saw Hancock this week i would have much rather been playing AoC. I enjoy the graphics, and the combat. but thats my opinion.

  You on the other hand funnily enough came to a board you state you don't frequent to bash a game you haven't played. Funny you should mention sheep as you formed your own opinion off of nothing more then random hate threads/posts from strangers. Yup no herd mentallity there. I might have given your post some credit if you maybe had at least tried the game via the free buddy pass, or beta, or something, but as it is just seems like another sheep posting about something he's never tried.

Hah, this is the lamest thing I have read in a while. Bash a game based off of your "friends" opinions, if you had balls to punch you would not be posting something as idiotic as this without thinking first. I'm glad your not playing, one less 12 year old in-game.
