Lineage 2 puts their subscriber amount on ncsoft.com in case you didn't know and ya 17 million is just impossible. This topic has already been discussed like crazy.

Ya that graph doesn't seem so accurate, TR really having 150k subscribers? I thought the game only had like 4-5 servers?

Would be nice to see no safe zones whether being RvR or FFA especially because controls will be twitched based.

Personally I liked Lotro but as all opinions, this one is biased. I quit WoW in 3 days, Lotro was a lot more interesting, atleast for me.

It is kind of hard to pick and choose when everyday I would run into fights in Lineage 2.

That example of knocking a liquid over and still have time to catch it is a horrible example.. Viscosity is not the defiance of gravity, viscosity is how smoothly it flows, if I know a liquid over then it is obviously going to fall because of gravity, it isn't just going to hang there slowly falling.

Ya I started L2 in North American Closed Beta and have played on and off since then. It is horrible to see where this game has ended up, just full of bots and people ebaying. I always end up quitting but come a few months later thinking the situation has gotten better but it never will be. NcSoft is just trying to milk as much money as they can with L2. I doubt I will ever buy any NcSoft games even though they are so unique (each MMO they have is different from the generic type, even L2 because of its PvP). I only suggest playing their games if you play with a friend. Sadly L2 seems lost to me, so many good memories .

Hey man what server did you play on ?  I also miss certain things about the game but i think i will try aion.

Also i see that other people are talking about ncsoft botting themselves well thats logical theres nothing wrong with thinking that.  And mr troll that thinks he knows everything that post on every forum needs to recognise

CB: Obviously Bartz

OB: Kain

Prelude and Continuing: Erica

I may try Aion as well if my computer can handle it, hopefully it is not as big as a grind.

BTW, they are increasing the level cap to 85.. LOL, getting to 80 is hard enough, well getting to 76 for me as a legit player was impossible, I wonder how the 85's will get there. I bet even the botters will be fed up with trying to get to 85 that is how scary the grind seems.

Well depending on how old it is, there have been quite a few BIG updates.. I am pretty sure if you have downloaded some of it, it should stay there and just continue with the rest but don't take my word for it.

Definitely love bishops, you are usually able to get groups as well. If not, easy to solo undead. Prophets are mainly boxed by many people so it is kind of rare seeing someone playing a prophet as a main but prophet buffs are very good.

By the way like above posted, if you do end up joining, read everything before! There is a LOT of information you should read and know before you start because it may end up effecting you later on and make it easier for you. Especially a lot of the money guides and guides on leveling.

This game is a LOT more harder than WoW in basically all levels. This game is a grind! If you think you can handle the grind, the game sets in usually at 52+ (atleast it did for me) when I would join groups for castle sieging, you may not be able to hold out on your own but in a group you can. If you end up joining a guild/alliance that is not neutral at higher levels, you will probably see PvP pretty much everyday. Which is really fun but the grind is the killer.

Edit: I read the posts above me and remembered that this game also is an adena grind. Many times I have spent just staying in Giran buying and selling just to afford new gear. Especially for A-grade gear, I had to buy/sell for close to 3-4 weeks! In the mean time I would just level alts and leave shops open at night. Every hard adena grind as well as level grind. The PvP however is what keeps bringing me back whenever I do take breaks from it.

Two people I know who were disgusted with WoW after playing it so much suddenly got back into this winter as well. Crazy, I think Blizzard using some subliminal messages

First off great job advertising your site... the real site is http://www.lineage2.com

and second, this game is not worth it to everyone. This game only caters to a few hardcore players willing to take time to grind, if you do decide to take on the grind, you will have a lot fun at the end. But that is only if you can bare the grind.

Yes actually a company took over it and decided to make Phylon and close down EA. However Phylon only lasted about 4 days I believe.
