Maybe before posting you should get your shit strait.  The isle of the dawn is a individually downloadable trial area that they're working on that also functions as an additional newbie zone.

 

Gloomie does have a sorta point there, though. If they make the isle misrepresentative of the rest of the game, it could make things worse, not better. If they have a polished trial, the game should have at least the same amount of polish, if not more.

The game is fine now, there its as polished as you can get, and im sure the Trial island will be just the same.

This isnt just for a trial, its also to help optimize characters and do many other long term things with the game.

Its the best thing they can do right now for Vanguard.

This is to be used as more of an informative thread but im going to admit it is also for my self benefit.

Im a new player looking to buy Aion, What one feature do you think sets this game apart from the crowd right now.

Please try not to duplicate each other, and make this thread big so other people like me that have the same question can see what this game has to offer.

Post anything from Screenshots to videos to interviews to prove your point and show me what sets this game apart.

I think your title is a bit off sir, It should read "Best Looking", not just best ever.

It does look really good, but it doesnt look highly engaging or any different from the standard of MMO's.

but the animations are great.

Its obvious that this is just another thread from the developer of the game, if you cant tell go look at another threadh this same person started where minutes after he posted it a bunch of "Pre-Cu Vets" came out of nowhere and started saying how great the game is now.

I dont follow darkfall, i havent for a long time, in fact its rather funny,

Back when I was looking for a new MMO after SWG, I came across two games, DarkFall, and Vanguard.

I decided I could only really put my heart into one game, so i followed Vanguard.

Unfortunatly it was nothing like I had expected, and I only waited for it for around 3-4 years.

Some people have been waiting for Darkfall for over 7, to me, I cant see how those people cna ever be sastisfied in a game made by mortal, men.

When I played the game, I only played the trial, and I couldnt stand the starting area, it was so average and half baked feeling.

From what I have heard the rest of the game is huge, which makes me wonder why they even have a starter area at all, they should just let you get right into the world.

I honestly think Vanguard has a chance right now in the MMO market, its a great game now, and had it been released, the way it is now, it would have been a huge hit.

I do agree character models, Especially, eyes (god what were they thinking!) need to be redone.

Yes AOC a brand new game, that sold hundreds of thousands of copies have less subs than Tabula Rasa after a Month.

Even if the game came out with no PvP or guild cities it would still have more subs than a game thats been out for a year and has a small player base.

Maybe you need to re-evaluate this guys statements before making assumptions.
