Dungeon Runners invite is closed for the moment, it will be some time before they let more people into the game , maybe you should try and read some of the other posts instead of starting your own without reading up on the news :)

I got a 6600 GT and i dont have any problems with any games from SOE , and ive played most of them.

And lets face it, SOE dont have the best support for techinical problems and they dont give a fuck either about ur problems :)


But if you could tell me where the problem lies i might be able to guide you in the right direction.

Tried the closed beta for pineapples.


And i cant really say i was impressed by it, nor did i feel like giving it a shot , since SOE has a leg inside of that game and practially all their ideas pretty much come from SWG , pretty obvious to see who gave them what etc. to build on with.


Im not gonna feed SOE anymore money, no matter what :)



But i wish people in Vanguard good luck, perhaps in a year or two they will nerf the game to shit because they feel like  this "Hey lets try to do as Blizzard did and see if were as successfull"

Every MMO game is good in its own way, Vanguard have some flaws, but hey , everygame has some flaws, ive played since closed beta my self in vanguard but decided not to buy the game because it simply doesnt match up to what i expected.

But enjoy the game and play it like it is or quit and move on.

Actually i would rather play SWG NGE than playing Vanguard , but hey i still do play SWG because there is simply no better game out there yet , and the thing with Vanguard, i would more likely to call it a ripoff with the placing items in houses, build boats and use them on the SEA etc. as the Nikoz78 typed.

So if we read some of the things they have listed you can do, lets see , 100% of their idea's are more of a ripoff,  nothing they invented them selves, thats for sure.

And i played Vanguard since the closed beta of it, and oh man was i dissapointed later on to find out how many of the idea's they had in their heads was more of a ripoff , a game is supposed to be unique, not a ripoff.

*No zones/instances. Just 1 freaking HUGE  open world in Vanguard!

*Player placed houses. The houses are not zoned. The only difference is you can only build on pre-determined plots in order to protect the environment (brilliant, SWG should have done this). The home decoration options are about 100 times that of SWG. You can even build a house on any one of hundreds of remote islands.

*In Vanguard there are literally over 60,000 items in the world already and every single item can be dropped in your house like in SWG.

*Vanguard features the "you can go anywhere" mentality. If you see it you can go there.

*Harvesting resources so reminds me of SWG. Hell, when you chop down a tree for wood the tree actually falls to the ground where you can then harvest it.

*SWG had space travel - Vanguard has sea travel! Huge open oceans to travel upon with your player-made boats of all sizes.

*You can tame wild beasts and mount them. In Vanguard you can fly dozens of mounts anywhere!

*The most amazing character-creation options ever. Period.

*You can custom design clothes, armor, weapons and even 'brand' it with your own logo.

*You can create and name your own songs (Bard).

* Item decay! And the most impressive crafting system ever devised.

*The CHALLENGE you sorely miss... is back!

Medieval games you say ?


Maybe you should try out Lineage II then :) , and judge it for your self

The reason it's quiet is because WoW is removing rank.

WoW is fun yes, but people there are all to arrogant, for them its all about items , and when the word "epix" comes into play, people change attitude / personality , and its so obvious to see , still the best community ever ive been a part of  is SWG , people are so much more friendly in it.


But to the topic, i don't know if SWG will ever return from hell , perhaps if BioWare opens up their eyes and request that it gets put back to Pre-Cu days etc. afterall its their game,  SOE is just the publisher with some influence.

I've been playing Vanguard since closed beta , clan invites phase


The game, it will never reach the top if they dont fix their servers, some areas was fuckedup enough with only around 500 people on the server, today, some 3000+ was on the server, and let me tell you it wasnt a pretty sight, everything was mostly in a stand still, the xp grind in the early beta was maybe a bit to fast, now it looks more like Lineage 2, where its gonna take you hours of hours , months to get anywhere within the lvl'ing system, the graphics are good in vanguard, but its still missing alot of things, if they even try to bring it live within the next few weeks, the game is gonna go dead like dark n light, its simply not ready for a large player database.


But again, its what the individual person likes to play, f.x there is no instance in Vanguard, everyone can meet eachother everywhere , so there is gonna be a large arguement if somebody steals raid bosses from others etc.

F.x one group is down a dungeon somewhere while perhaps another group just tags along and let the others fight, perhaps their gonna have a ranger follow the other group, but when it all comes to a end the other group is gonna come rushing for a boss kill perhaps.

In my honest opinion, vanguard won't be in the top 10 mmo's of 2007

Find a thread called "Dungeon Runners Invite" and ill be in there,  there has been 3 ok big threads so far, but i simply cant and wont waste anymore time in 3 different threads trying to help out people that are wasting my time with not accepting my invites, so atm i have 8 stuck invites that hasnt been accepted ( using 2 plaync accounts )

saying this I still play well what else is out there and most of the guys I played SWG, DAOC etc are still in it praying for the next good game.... please someone tell me where to find it
