Play for life? That's a really, really, really long time.

Hell, if I owned a PC gaming company, I'd do the same thing to prevent those little shits from downloading my game I worked hard on for free!

I agree. I can't see any real reliable way to stop it without having part of the game downloaded with each run. "Phone Home" type of anti-piracy is easily circumvented as it is (See Adobe Products). But if part of the game just simply didn't exist on the distro, it would make it a bit harder. To complicate it more, download binary opco into a memory segment and jump into it so it never actually exists on the hard drive but performs an integral component of the game.

Wow. This is the shit that happens in movies and I'm like "People don't do that." Well, I guess I was wrong.

I wonder if they were provided with a list of "accepted" easy listening artists...

As soon as "gimmick" was mentioned, I saw this thread coming. lol Wasn't the last "gimmick" argument something like 3 pages long?

I'll be honest here, I got about 1/2 way through that article and had to stop. What a crock. Just what we need, scientist injecting chemicals into the womb to alter the genetics of a healthy baby. This disgusts me.

I can't believe that I missed this commerical during the superbowl , but for those of you that did as well (or the Europeans/Americans among you that don't like to watch American football) here it is:

I definitely saw this commercial on television. Not sure if it was on the superbowl or not. Good commercial though.

I doubt it will contain much exclusive information about upcoming MMORPG's except drawings for betas etc.

The editor seems to be scavenging for different ideas, articles and so on from individual sources (gamers) and information publicized already.

But I guess it can be rather nifty to have something to read in the bathroom, mostly about things you've already read and experienced through the internet.

Looks like Massive Magazine won't contain any information.

Dsorrent.
You are my saviour, this is exactly what i was looking for.
Some strange reason my current drivers are newer than the ones on the nvidia site, but stil 80 series.
Will they still be WHQL certified if i mod them (not that i care, just curious) ?

No, I believe it will throw up a warning. I use those on my nVidia Go 7800 GTX. One thing I did notice is that after installing them, when I boot up, right before it's finished booting, the screen goes black and then comes back up again. From what I read on the forums there, it's harmless and caused by a clock speed tweak on the video card. You can get rid of it if you want by installing Coolbits. The discussion for that is here. I just let it do it's one flicker and I'm good to go.

Have you considered how they know when you get a new mower? I mean, if they've hit you up 4 times already, they must know when you've gotten yourself a new one. Perhaps they live nearby or even work at the place you're buying your mower from?

The only problem I see with this argument is that selling stolen goods is a crime even if you didn't steal it. So they host stolen footage that is copyrighted by various companies to entice people to come to their site and build up traffic. They then take the traffic numbers, solicit those to other companies and sell advertising space based on traffic drummed up by hosting stolen merchandise. So they are still profiting by hosting these clips.

Well, Viacom does have a point. Google/YouTube makes money off of advertising and by having copyrighted material on their sites, they (Google/YouTube) are technically profiting off of Viacom's work. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in court though.

I haven't seen that advertisment come across on the site yet, however, maybe it's linked to your account here and they use that address?

EDIT: I saw this link, however, for one it's not free and two, it asks for your address. So I'm assuming this is not the link you are talking about.

While I saw the 300 and thought (and still think) it's a great movie, I do appreciate your post recounting the actual historical facts that were not in the 300. I'm sure I learned about all that back in school, but I've forgotten most of it. :)

Supernumerary breast tissue (SBT) is rarely found beyond the mammary line. However, the back [3], shoulder [4], face [5], and thigh [6] have been described as sites of SBT development. When glandular tissue is present, SBT may be affected by the same disease processes that occur in normally positioned breast tissue [7, 8, 9]. To our knowledge, this is the first report of SBT on the foot.

Now that's interesting. "Hey, nice boob (on your face)."
