Fixed for you.

No space in eve is safe, there is more secure space, where players are sometimes afraid on engaging or will get together to gank a high value target. My guess is since your claiming to be new, either

a) you were autopiloting in a hauler with 250mil+ worth of good in your hold and expected to live

or

b) you are a miner that tried to fight back and you lost.

Assuming either one of these situations are correct, get over it. Eve won't hold you hand.

you will (probably) never catch up to characters that are older then you. (i say probably becuase some older characters have terrible[read:unblanced] attribute distribution that causes them to train many skills very slowly.

Through use of learning skills and Implants skill train time can be reduced, and people older then a month old in the game generally have them.

One of the best thigns about eve is that someone will always be newer to the game then you. That said eve isn't all about Skil points, but how much you know. You will not be running missions for longer then you want, you will nto be mining for longer then you want. (well after the tutorial anyway) It will probably take you a week or so(if you have a life) to get into a cruiser.

You can(and some have) PvP'd from thier first day, they usually know what they are doing, and did it ust to prove that new player, with enough logic, can kill people.

Combat: sometimes extremely boring(when its laggy) generally this only happens in large(and now very very large? 800+?) battles. I enjoy the pvp in the game, I've tried to explain it in text (I edited it out) . I really can't. In no other game do I get exicited about a fight(and feel my heart pounding sometimes).

Joining a Corp may be difficult for the first month, but after that if you use the corp adverts to find a corp you should be able to find a nice home somewhere.

One last note about skill training/vets : you may never catch up to them in total sp amount, but you can only train a skill up to level 5, generally the first 4 levels are easy to attain and the 5th will have a very long skill train time. People will tell you to specialize, I never liked that. Things will get nerfed in eve and I'd rather have the ability to fly another races ship then do an extra 2%-5% damage.

Edit: Steam has a 21 day free trial

I never had trouble, generally as long as your off your trial people will accept you. try looking at the adverts corps have now.

can bring more subscribers but this will make live easy for not so "intelligent" players because it points what player should do and dont

But players like you, who can't even write a grammatically correct sentence, belong to the crowd of the "intelligent" people, right?
The elitism is strong with you, young padawan..

Certificates will help new players into the game, give them some sort of progress, and help corps recruit new players. I don't see any downside of this feature. If you don't like it, you don't have to use it, as all certificates can be kept private.

I agree, obviously everyone's primary language is english.

As far as the Certificates themselves, they seem like fluff, nothing wrong with that, but I'm pretty sure they have no effect on anything and thus are useless to me.

you are wrong(or at least you used to be, not sure if they changed it.)

First off let me stat by saying i hate missions. Right then, I never really understood why missions in eve are so bad, to me it seems like every other game. Go here  kill this, talk to npc for reward, or go here, Collect these, return for reward. Maybe go here kill these things then collect the loot and return. Am I missing something?

Good story :)

Its very hard to start eve without knowing someone, generally people get frustrated and quit, glad to see you didn't give up :)

You should really add a "I was bored and just wanted to vote in this poll" option.

only downside is needing either a logistics ship, or one or 2 people with some rep drones.

*needs to read all posts from now on, ignore this one ;)

aux thrusters are pretty cheap, extra speed for only 9 mil or so.

railgun set-up

2xoverdrive 1x tracking enhancer

mwd2 cap recharger2 warp disruptor2

3x125mm rails 1 salvager

works better in some cases then blaster set-up(othercases not as well)

Are you even playing the same game? Every single belt in hi sec is farmed 24x7 by the gold sellers. .

WoW really?
So your saying the 30 odd belts i regully patroll are not empty of miners then.

Really now its trolls like you that make me glad i dont play games with bad communities like WoW for example.

Agreed. If you're in Jita, or something, then yeah, it could be hard to find a belt. Most other places? Never had a problem. And the times I've found things stipped, it's been by legit players.

Never had a problem getting a Lab, Seen 1 ISK seller spam, one time in the last two months.

All in all, leave Jita.

pyramid ftw!!!

tbh if anyone is finding belts in jita I wonder where they are playing. (They were removed)

Cheap?  Hardly.

I have  70+ kills with that ship in PvP.

^^ gyro 2's on that thing make me sad :(

As for on topic stuff :  You can always PvP so long as you can afford to do so. Join a corp that will supply you with t1 frigs or cruisers and you'll be fine.

Short Answer : No

Long Answer : Every skill has some kind of use in eve, as long as you don't train them all to level 5 the most you could waste training is a day, that being said even if you did go and train a skill to 5 it would most likely benefit you somewhere.
