Your attempt at sarcasm fails miserably.

 

Instancing is the process in which you are placed in a zone with simply those in your party/raid.

 

He was talking about a system in which loot drops differ depending on the difficulty of the mob, the level you are, members in party, this may go a long way to stopping gold farmers soloing low instances, thus saving the economy

 

So next time you speak, try to at least engage your brain.

I think your slightly confused matey

They confirmed that as you progress through the game you will recieve new gear models, however these have no stats of there own until you infuse them with "sigil's" which will work in a similar way to WoW's/Diablos Jewelcrafting, ie certain amount of slots to put gems in

with this system you get the best of both worlds 

- you decide the stats your gear has

- you decide your appearance

- leveling and obtaining new gear

It makes me laugh how American's are complaining about how it will get an EU release first, and even thats only marginally.

I'd happily switch places with you, EU is generally considered the last thought for any gaming company

The lack of information may be a good sign, just lately companies have been far too busy building hype, than focusing on the actual game, vanguard would be a prime example, huge forum base, hundreds of fan sites with everything you;d wish to know, the game however was released unfinished and buggy

I'd rather they spent there time on developing the game, rather than showing it off at every given opportunity

Strange you should mention that you are looking forward to an MMO without a healer class

        I on the other hand wouldn't even touch an MMO without a dedicated healer, not only because I love playing a healer because of the skill involved, but also because 'self heal' games such as RFO, L2, etc tend to lack depth

RFOnline has incredible looking armour, but they had to make a line between CC/Lag, think about it, your in a mine war, and everyone varies in appearence, that means an insane amount of models for your pc to load, especially with CM saying some wars can be 1000+ player plus.

In my view keep the variation down and let the game focus on its target, the best pvp mmo to date.

p.s people moaning about everyone will look the same, look at 90% of the MMO's out there, and there tends to be a better build of armour, FFXI = AF armour, WoW = BWL tier 2 set, etc etc

This game in no way resembles Lineage 2 graphically. The only exceptions are the Cora race, which somewhat resemble Lineage 2 Light Elves. Even then, the RF Online characters are nowhere near as detailed as Lineage 2 characters. In RF Online, the armor sets are absolutely painted on, where Lineage 2 armor sets look like they are actually worn by the character (complete with moving armor parts).

The biggest resemblance to World of Warcraft is in the structures. Buildings have cartoon-like colors both inside and out. Also, the textures used for the ground textures and other ambient textures in no way resemble Lineage 2 whatsoever. They do, however, somewhat resemble World of Warcraft.

If you are expecting Lineage 2 type graphics in this game, you will be disappointed They might use the same engine . . but if you stick a Ferarri engine on a go-cart, you still have a go-cart with a wasted engine.



Lineage 2 uses the Unreal graphics engine, RFOnline uses the new R3 graphics engine
