It depends what timezone you play, the game is busiest during prime time CW which is 7pm GMT. I'm seeing a hell of alot more players now than I ever did when the game was P2P :)

Which server did you roll on? you'd probably get more help on Novus it's the server with all the old players on it (inc. me).

Yes the cora spec is possibly the most pointless class in the game, the other 2 races specialists have more use the accretian spec gets guns which can debuff enemies and also heal them. the bellato specialist can later become a driver which means they can use Mechs.

well CM have finally made updates to there website so if you go to rfonlinegame.com  all instructions can be found there on how to create an account and play.

depends what you mean by great? create both and play them for a few levels and see which you prefer.

Follow these instructions to create an account on RF.

1. To get your CD Key go to http://www.tryrfonline.com/request-key.php  ignore the information about the trial, this is all you need to have an unlimited account.

2. Make an account here https://cogaccounts.codemasters.com/ and add your CD key to the RF online section.

3. Download the client from either http://files.filefront.com/RFOnline...;/fileinfo.html or http://www.xfire.com/files/download/1549/

And your ready to play RF.

Yes, the new armour you will get will overlap this, so your appearance will always be affected by which armour you wear.

Age Of Conan and Spellborn are the only ones I'm interested in. Darkfall is too far off to get excited about yet.

Yes Ryzom adopts a skill tree system very similar to that of Pre CU. There are no levels only titles, which are gained through unlocking different stanza's within the skill tree's, you can also play as anything you like with no limitations, meaning you could be a tank one minute but change to a healer mid fight, it's a very free-form well produced game.

The closest game out there to what you want is what many Pre CU players are playing is The Saga Of Ryzom. It does have some of the features SWG had missing like player houses. But the game is a large scale and allows for Sand box leveling which means you could litterally be every class in the game at once.

There's an unlimited free trial at www.ryzom.com go check it out. If your really stuck it has to be worth a try. :)

This is the nature of Koreon MMO's. Unfortunatly the top players tend to have played since the begining and the reward for constant play is to be one of the most powerful players, skill does play very little part in this game...

Ahhh hell this may be a slow year again.

No real PvP system which is really what this game should have had implemented, it's just a slightly glorified version of a duel system(you can duel with groups rather than just singularly).

After playing through the beta the thing that striked me the most is there was no excitement for when you first play a good MMO. I spent the first 20 seconds of play thinking "what the hell is this".

The graphics are mediocre at best, sounds are fine but lets be honest this is far from the most important aspect of what makes a good MMO.

The gameplay is shabby, if you've played the twitch style combat that NGE SWG has you'll know how poorly this plays. Everyone looks the same with the same weapons, A HUGE lack of things to do in this game.

I am dissapointed beyond a point I have never felt with any MMO I have played (and I've tried almost all of them). This was a game I was hoping to really get into this winter, I can't describe how let down I feel at the moment after playing the beta. 

It's not on the list but Neocron was my best PvP experience :)
