This game is everything and more. It JUST launched so any polish still needed will be there in content updates but so far everything to me is polished besides a few things. (Such as crafting)

No matter HOW many times level-headed objective people make this statement, there will always be people that are so excited and swept up in their latest pet game, that they cannot SEE the truth in the statement you just made.
I have said this same thing, ALMOST word for word, probably 20 times in the past month on these boards.  Some people just cannot IMAGINE that anyone would have different taste than they do in games.  I, being a parent, personally blame it on parents not teaching their children that what is right for one person....is not NECESSARILY right for another.  It goes along with teaching your kids not to be judgmental and self-righteous, and teaching them that the path that is right for THEM, is not perhaps what is right for someone else.  Not everyone teaches their children to be true to themselves, but rather teaches them to be true to what many many others think, say, and believe, rather than teaching them critical thinking skills.  That is very sad, in my opinion.
I have to wonder how many of these people that don't "get this" were raised in a fundamentalist-type faith, and were taught that what they personally believe, is the ONLY thing that is right....and everyone else, by default, is wrong.  Oftentimes these same people believe something, whether it is about their faith, or even....yes....a game....because it is what they have been TOLD to believe.  Some (not all) of them, are like lemmings that will gleefully follow each other off of a cliff.  Others, truly love the game, yet cannot see that it doesn't mean EVERYONE must.
I have absolutely NO issues with anyone that thinks that Warhammer is the best game ever made.  It very well may BE....for THEM.  However, I do take offense when I'm told that it is the best game in the world and told that this is a statement of indisputable FACT.  THAT is nothing but a lie. 
I'm sure WAR is the best game in the world for SOME people, but for ME...it is not.  And while I honor your right to believe WHATEVER you want to believe....you do not have a right to dictate what MY beliefs are to be.
Now, I hate to have to compare games to something as life altering as world religions, but for gamers....they pretty well can be.  So, respectfully I have to say....
I am happy that you found your gaming salvation.  But quit trying to evangelize the world.  Just because it is "the best thing ever" to YOU, does not make it so for EVERYONE.  It also does not mean that those that disagree with your opinion are "idiots" or "morons" or any other derogatory word that you might choose to throw their direction.  I certainly do not think that anyone that loves the game is an idiot.  Maybe they just have very different likes and dislikes than I do.  No big deal.

nice threat i must add something maybe i have wrong... but if people could stop making post with caplock or even saying this is the ultimate game ever, or this is the ultimate worse game ever ... if the communoty could stop saying this .. that could stop those who are always trying to put their taugh and trying to have their ultimate answer behing the real one... and that could shut down a lot of unescesserly post.

Well one thing I love to when I start a game its to start with a friend or to start a real coop mode online with unknown person, The OP is right, the actuall communoty isnt playing in group they waiting to be maximun level to start to thaught about talking to other player or even grouping with them for some raid...

There always something to do at low lvl in group, ill explain myself: ... its better to start and have good memory form lvl 1 with unknown person or some friends by grouping with them until the end of the game, you develop your personal side, you put some funny story or angry one without reveling your real personalty and that making the game alive.
I HATE TO SE something like a starting zone when the game just lunched and behing alone and trying to group with person and they keep fighting alone without even taking consideration grouping or my invit and their a lot of advantage by doing group from the begining and at all level to, you could take advantage of the ability from other classes in the game this is an exemple...

All player who want to start healer classes are always in front of a wall at the begining they want to group and take full advantage of their ability and they cant because the tank can do everything by himself and dont wanna talk with the communoty " He want the peace to play alone and grinding is caracthere until he reach the miximun lvl and this at the maximun speed that he can".

Finally, there some game who what they did to resolve this problem easy they had removed or minimized the healear classe impact . This is not really a good answer to the problem by making a game with more soloing content, and making those "SOCIAL SOLO QUEST" this isnt not right thing to do, its only removing the oportunity to made a group by gaving more XP you ( social quest gave more because its something cool that they create ) and its requiring less work less socializing and making that one minded communoty.

I dont want to flame I took the exemple of Social Solo quest because War had started this and hope i wont see that idea behing apply to any futur mmo by the reason that could create one minded communoty that even thinking about soloing.

Took Guildwars was nice because from 1 to 20 you have to group.. exemple many person didnt like this game but its reached the top in 2005~­2007 in the best seller in online game for a f2p .

And who didnt play Diablo 2 at teh begining in coop mode that was really exciting moment for me.. when it time to play a MMO i dont want to bother myself with the social aspect because its suppose to be a game for this.. If i wanna play an game alone i will play MassEffect or Neverwinter2, or Diablo, titan qeust etc.. warcraft ...crysis. I wont come on a mmo without even sure to have fun with some comrade.

Art is subjective, but man, the game to me looks and feels like it was made for 8 year olds. I grew tired of it in 15 min much less can I imagine myself spending HOURS in this world. The movement is VERY clunky and annoying. It's terrible.

The way the zones are set up is especially uninspiring. Not only are they smallish, but there is only a tiny portion of it set aside for RvR. Oh, and no player housing? No thanks.
In fact, I'm kinda pissed I bought into the hype. Paul Barnett is a great personality and he hyped this game to the max. But it's just not fun to play.
My 2 cents.

I actually think that Godager probably played WAR beta and realised, at that point, just how much of a disaster his own game was and is compared with the competition.

Maybe some people dont think, thats of course possible, though in this case thats not it.  What is IT, is the fact that most of what is printed on the AOC box from launch, remains to be added to the game 4 months later.  Who cares about Quad Core support when the game lacks content, lag free play, the ability to play for hours without crashing, the ability to keep groups together, a world where the zone arent instanced which makes forming groups maddening! I mean what about DX10? ? ? It was promised on the box.


Well everyone wanted the game SOON AS POSSIBLE ! there you have ... You dont even think about futur do you prefer a game that gonna be fixed and become the most intereting game from this year. Or put your hope on WoW WOTLK &?????

Graphics are subpar for a game released in this day and age. Mythic, as consumers we deserve more than you can provide. So like numerous others i have cancelled my pre-order of WAR, it was a huge failure in my eyes.

All the information stated in that first link pertained to the all the test server patch notes I listed previous, which, might I add, have had a Sept 10th test server release date attached for quite a few weeks now -

In the second link they are delaying it by just 5 days (because of further testing and correction implementations which can of course all be read about on the test server.

They pulled the test server down yesterday for 1 hour and today for 1 hour to implement some fixes which need that extra testing before getting released next week (weekend testing) one of those additions was patch 2.24

For the record here are are all the patch notes to date, with addition scaled from about a month ago stating most recent on top.

Massive PVP
* Guard Lieutenant is now a normal boss.
* Guards will now hit for a more normal amount.
* Guards will now take longer breaks during patrols.

* Each of the three tiers of the bricks, girders, ornaments, and planks will now cost 10 resources each. (changes to cost from previous patch 2.13 are reverted) << as you can see from feedback in a healthy test server community.

* I Eat Your Heart will now properly heal the Herald after killing a minion.
* I Eat Your Heart will now properly spawn a Blood Pit after killing a minion, with the proper feat trained.

Tempest of Set
* When a player is charmed, he will follow the same rules as other pets (cannot be attacked by you, your team or your raid).

COMBAT
* You can no longer shoot a bow or crossbow while moving.

GUI
* When vieing your Tradeskills and viewing Recipes these windows should now remember their location and no longer open to their default location after closing and reopening them.
* PvP Minigame win/loss stats now displayed in the GUI
* Added PvP Kills and PvP Deaths fields to the player info window.

TRADEPOST
* Updated the mail text gotten from the Tradepost.
* It is now possible so search for items using Item Rarity.
* Added Times out column to the Search results list on tradepost.
* Added Times out field to the Item tooltip on tradepost.

TRADESKILLS
* Gems can no longer be added to items from bank or guild bank. Only from the backpack and tradeskill inventories.
* All tradeskill bows should have 20 meter base range. Additional range are added as item modifications.

ITEMS
* Adjusted the sell prices on the PvP Items.
* Fixed a bug with the Bloodcrest Bracers making the lower arm transparent.
* Fixed layering issue with the male Tasset of the Martial Paragon. This should be fixed on all tiers of armor for the Conquerer.
* Fixed a bug with the Hammersteel bracers making the lower arm transparent.
* Fixed a bug with the Dark Templars Chestguard of the Wicked (PvP Armor) that would make holes in your character.
* PVP shield Skirmisher's Sanctum and Skirmisher's Great Shield have had their shininess toned down, they no longer look like they are glowing.

MOUNTS
* Using your mount as a weapon should no longer gain bonuses from effects that were intended to only affect the player. As an example a Assassin "ordering" it's horse to bite someone should no longer deal poison damage if Poison Stance is active.
* Characters jumping while moving on horseback will no longer freeze when they land if they let go of the movement keys before landing

NPCS/MOBS
* The player city guides will no longer give you the option to teleport to your guild city if you are not in a guild.
* Drunken Pirates have had their bandanas personally fitted for their heads.
* PvP Vendors can be found in Lion's Market of Old Tarantia. There are shops in Khemi and Conarch Village where you can find the PvP Vendors as well.
* The NPC's Adofo and Abasir have no longer the use gear icon on them when the user hovers over them.
* The quest NPCs Sheana, Raelina and Fendaen will now display quest markers when they have available quests.
* Have placed a new mob in Khemi called Recruiter Nadik that will teleport players to a pvp area.
* Yakhmar now casts "Blizzard" and no longer steals spells from Kylikki.
* The Gurnakhi Honorguard should no longer randomly reset.
* Asapon will now correctly spawn at all times outside the Atlantean Cave.


MASSIVE PVP
* If under attack while you have the Shield of the Risen active, out of combat regeneration and resting are no longer interrupted. This stops a griefing technique where spawn campers could stop you regenerating.
* Defending guild mercenaries can no longer gain points by killing attacking players.
* The new Channel "Siege Scores" will display point gain in siege combat.
* Siege weapons are now immune from fatalities.
* Building points gained by mercenaries will be rewarded to attacking guild as intended in the first place.
* Attacking siege buildings with melee/ranged or unarmed will show correct damage on the client.
* Changed the Ballista to use the correct spell.
* Changed the Ballista Hit spell to not hit players.

PVP

* Fixed being able to get a double sneak attack/mezz shot from stealth.
* Mountaineer will no longer be removed when the Rogue dies.

Assassin
* When executing From the Darkness in stealth, you should now properly leave stealth.
* Clarified the tooltip and combat log for the Blindside ability to show that the target is the one losing the stamina specified.

Barbarian
* Rampaging Horde now works for any class nearby, not just Barbarians. Description has been updated to reflect this.
* Rampaging Horde will now increase in duration based on the number of feat points invested. The duration is now 12/15/18/21/24 seconds per respective rank.

Bear Shaman
* Iron Hide will now properly absorb all damage from the next hit inflicted on the Bear Shaman.

Demonologist
* Your permanent pets will now follow you when you zone, and if they are alive when you die, will reappear when you resurrect. Temporary pets do not follow you when zoning, nor reappear after your death.
