hey guys, im on a cable modem isp.. it seems pretty slow when playing games, I ran a test and it showed im only getting 800kbs-1.2mb speeds. Im supposed to be getting up to 6mbs, whats wrong here? Please give me some advice thanks.

Well now that AoC is delayed this really sucks for the winter but good for the actual game, we don't want another Vanguard. What is going to be released this year? No thanks LOTR.. I'll probably end up getting Pirates of the burning sea.. thats my second choice I just really hope it doesnt get delayed.

Lol funny part is... this whole segment is probably going to shit all over us. They are looking specifically for people who play 12 hours a day and constantly blow off work etc.

Well, I REALLY hope this mmo won't turn out like Vanguard in general + launch that was freaking horrible. The thing that worries me the most is the such damn short beta and it really seems the launch date IS going to stick. Regardless i'll give it a shot at launch.

This is off topic to the subject of the thread sorry. How do you mask/change your IP do you use a proxy server? Or proxy browser like "proxify"? I've tried these but they seem so SLOW. Is there anything really good out there (and no im not looking to break NDA lol)

Im very spectical on the release date but I REALLY hope it sticks. Its comming out in perfect time for me if its oct 30th ( work really slows down then.. maybe 30 hours a week max. ) so i'll have lots of time to play. If it gets pushed passed into 2008 that will suck. I think it may stick just because of all the recent advertisements stating oct 30th, not "comming this fall" or winter etc... so it looks like its set in stone.

Thanks for the info guys, but does anyone know if theres going to be actual item loot on any of these pvp servers?

I tried looking it up in the FAQ its just brief. Does anyone know the actual servers we will be getting yet? PVP? FFA? RP-FFA? etc? Also what are the rulesets going to be, and will there be full/partial item looting on the pvp servers?

I was playing the Everquest progression the otherday and got in a group for aviaks. Anyway we got on the subject of the original everquest and some guy said "yeah im glad those bottle pissing days are over".  Is that some kind of mmo language for playing 20 hours a day?

Awesome, I appreciate the info. Yeah it would be wonderful to get a beta invite also. I've been playing Oblivion to kill some time untill Pirates and AoC :)

I was also wondering this. (this and AoC is my mmo of choice for this year). Is there an actual month set in stone yet?

I play Rubies of Eventide now, serious, give it a try. If you like Role Play, go to the RP server.. has the best community.

Just curious, I played rubies of eventide like 1 1/2 ago and the server seemed so damn dead.. like maybe 50 ppl on it max, it did seem like a really cool mmo (definitly reminded me of old EQ with a twist) how is the population now? I mean.. you say it has a great community but how many people not just the die hard players?

The thing that amazes me is that this topic is brought up daily (not trying to flame you or anything) I would play an EQ classic server in a heartbeat. Its insane that they don't even TRY this.. imo they could profit off this very much (thats all they give a fuck about anyway.) so why not? Is it because of no profit from expansions or they just don't want to admit EQ went to shit after luclin?

Are you guys kidding me you don't have time? I work 8 hours a day mon-fri, and a full time GF. Im able to game still about  4 hours a day and maybe 4-6 hours on weekends, also workout 30 min-45 5 days a week. Also the part about eating right.. just don't eat so much damn fast food all the time, eat healthy.. its not always that bad. Teryaki ) or BBQ  =oP_) chicken, rice, corn, peanuts, lean pork, fruits ( apples, oranges etc) vegtables, yogurt.. shit like that and you should stay in good shape.
