Question: When you download the Direct 2 Drive special edition with all the expansions, does it come off the D2D servers, or the slow as heck SWG/Sony servers??

I've updated Everquest and EQ2 and I must say...waiting all day (almost) for a full download with all the recent updates (on cable mind you) is not my idea of fun.

If anyone can help me here, let me know. I'm thinking of grabbing that instead of upgrading from a trial account.

Nothing really new, that hasn't been rehashed before...I'm disappointed really. I  want it to  be better than it is, but oh well. Not at this current state. I'm hoping Warhammer Online is going to be enjoyable. From all I've read and seen, it seems it will.

As to my referal to Tabula Rasa being 'King', that's not what I meant. I meant Lord British, aka Richard Garriot, IE..King of Britania in the Ultima games :)

Very serious. This comes from having experience will all these games. I just don't see them being anything special.

Just venting my feelings. Just going on gut instinct and being in the business since the Commodore 64 days.

Edit: God and Heroes is going to end up like Dark and Light

For those of us that went thru that pain, you know what I'm talking about.

Not So Honorable Mention: Pirates Of The Burning Sea: Same old tired premise.

Metallica...throw them all in a woodchipper and be done with it...

I for one hope it's soon. All the waiting and anticipation can wear a person out
in time, and I'm almost to that point. Open Beta will more than likely be my only chance
to play it before it comes out. I've done my best on the beta application, but it seems it's
harder to get into that World Of Warcraft beta was :/ Anyway, looking foward to a good
game and even better community!
