Most mmo games have lot of boring stuff you need to live with, like downtime waiting for power regain,in game night you cant hardly see anything on the screen unless you are in totally dark room.What I personly dislike most is the waiting for mana regain downtime, this adds nothing to the game and if they are afraid that people level to fast if there is no downtime then why not reduse the xp gain for killing.

I just jope they wont force Frodo to bring a tank some healers and other backup classes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is becouse the people that play those games you mentioned does realy like their games. they stay for that reason.

Well im not sure if I can agree with you here, there is very much endgame in most mmo games now and the games more ore less force people to group or raid all the time. This is just like at work you are forced to team with people you hate.

All years have been shit years for mmo games since 1999 when turbine released AC.

You shoud try Hero online it is free to play and fun too,should make you happy for few weeks at least, not an everlasting game like UO AO AC but nice thing to do betweene games.

I did vote bad since I dont like raiding, but I understand that other people love it.For me when it comes to the endgame raiding it is game over and I cancel the game.

Yes I guess we will have to live with the fact that developers are very much sure they are creating THE mmorpg that everyone will play the next 63 yers or so and are scare to death that if you can do something on your own nobody wants to play that game.I dont think any mmorpg will last more than 4-6 years(with exeption from WoW, and that depends on that WoW are getting new people to the mmorpg gerne, most people that play WoW dont know there are other mmo's) Maybe Turbine will considder after their flopp with DDO or soe will rethink after what happent when they released lords of the rings online

Well EQ2 lost about 50% of it's player base in it's first 4 months or so couse of lacking for solo content, now since it is getting bit more solo friendly players are coming back.Vanguard is even more solo hostile than EQ2 so I cant see many people move from EQ2 to Vanguard.

I would love to see a new skill based game instead of all those level based games out there.I did never play UO (I would do it now if game had new graphics) Played AC and loved it's skill system.Those new games like WoW EQ2  are a great fun till you have maxed out your character,then it is game over  unless you love raiding all the time.
