My Rig: Just to ask before I try to download the beta. Does the processor fall too small, or could the video card make up for it?

I just see the game development got stalled. Only changes and tweaks/balance over already playable content since launch. No end-game, no pvp game, crafting is even more pitiful than at launch. As many (or at least the whole 15 ppl in my clan), I payed my first month and backed off on standby. But I don't see enough new content or changes worth the resub. Edit: Also, in so little time they've revamped the classes and skills completely. The playstyle was the only thing I really liked from TR. I'm sure they've changed for the good but IMO it wasn't really a priority, and so many continued changes on playgame will only piss off the current players. |

If the requirements are too high, it's going to flop for sure. |

Worst thing would be a bad customer service. Just look at Lineage2. |

I don't like UO anymore (in official servers) because a) in one week I was unable to kill a single person, b) the pvpers I saw were always the same (not more than 20 different people). Many reasons for the above. Items that make you godly, and to get them you need 100+ bucks (or farm god knows for how long). Bots, instutionalized ebaying, too reliant on macroes. Very unbalanced builds which later got nerfed into oblivion getting other builds overpowered. Too little of a playerbase, etcetc. On the other hand, I'm sure lots of people still play it for the housing, the world (best virtual world ever), and the freedom of action you get there. But what really kills the game for me is the astounding unbalance created by the items. |

If you don't know anyone in Lineage 2 to help support you, don't even consider it. The playerbase is "mature" and to get to their level while beginning as a noob without help can be a nearly impossible task (taking ebay and botting out of the equation). It's not something you can play just for "killing" some time while you wait for WAR. On the other hand, if you play L2 and play it seriously (semi-hardcore), you'll learn the real meaning of "bot" and "ebaying". While at the same time it has the most rewarding pvp endgame, group based (no lone-wolves here). |

If you plan to recover your banned account, you should contact them now, not in 6 months, through the means they have available. If they say phone, then it doesn't cost you nearly anything (use voip or their 800 number).
Another thing is to discuss if it really makes sense to make such checks by phone instead of using email or their web. |

And what will they verify over the phone, if you don't mind telling me? Your voice?? If you need to send them credit cards or IDs, there is 'https' encription protocols just like when you subscribed... |

I'm still waiting for the robot vehicles -__- and at the moment I only see very very small patches, if balancing can be called now "content". The balancing in this game is another thing I didn't like back when I was playing (two months ago?). The 'nerf bat' was a too big blow when it touched things, with not enough consideration to the actual players' feelings and reactions. Reading the last patch notes it looks the same way yet. |

For localization I just wish a coherent and professional text translation. Just look at Sword of the New World localization when compared with the original and how it's changed. |

You mustn't speak about the same WoW endgame I've seen, where you very much have to be a no-lifer to get something done. Unless you are talking about lol-arenas... |

In a macro level, all communities are unbearable. People in general are egoistic jerks and act as such. In a more micro level, you can make or get into a community of your taste, and take your friends there. There are lots of 25+ years old clans in WoW, both centered in nearly pro-raiding and arenas, which take the game as a game but seriously enough. There are also guilds full of lamer-kiddies. In EVE you can find big or small organized communities working towards a goal, but some of them play to make life difficult to others in a destructive thinking way, be it generalized ganking or scams. You have to think not about the community, but about what the game/virtual world offers. Even if it offers little, you can certainly find something to do. Just try not to get used. |

If you had listened past the first five minutes, aftert the youtube discussion (which I completely agree), he then speaks and discusses about pvp in WoW. |
