TR was fun for 5 minutes too. I can't figure out if this game is so great, why so many people are here posting about it instead of playing it - just stating the obvious....

This game is the biggest hoax in the history of MMO's. It's probably some study at a university that has simply gone way beyond what they intended. And yeah, they're laughing still........

Vista is more resource intensive than XP and not very program friendly. I don't think it's near as bad as ME, but it is in the same neighborhood. I too would wait for the next version or try a flavor of Linux if you're really bored. I too bought a new PC with Vista on it (it came with it) and wiped it for XP.

Vista Home Premium will only recognize one physical processor. But if that one physical processor is dual core or quad core, it will use it.

Depends on what verion of Vista you have. Windows Vista Business, Enterprise, or Ultimate recognizes multiple physical processors. Vista Home does not.

Vista supports dual-core. It's when you have 2 physical processors that the difference kicks in.

What always cracks me up is I can see them and they apparently always have way sub-par vison. But yeah, I like the OP's post. Having mobs split and be semi-intelligent would be interesting.

I'm hesitant of AoC simply because it's EA backed. If it doesn't produce stellar numbers, EA will pull the plug even if it's the best MMO ever made.

All MMO's are fun when you first start them. If they didn't peak your interest, you probably wouldn't try them. The key is, if you're still around in a few months or so.

I have no idea why this game is even listed on this site......... it's been in "development" for nearing a decade............

Same ole same ole IMO. Time will tell if it's successful or not.

And the QQ begins before the game even goes live........

Player looting will never be immensely popular in mainstream MMO's. While it might have a niche, most people do not enjoy having their gear taken. However, they could have servers dedicated to this type of gameplay without too much trouble IMO.

WoW will die when Blizzard comes out with their next MMO IMO - it's just too popular. But yeah I agree that Reselliance runied that game. i remeber when the only Epic gear you saw was from raiding MC and now Epic gear is the norm (thanks wellfare PvP).

I totally agree with the OP. In most games crafting is an afterthought. And It's a shame because crafting can keep people from getting bored. EnB had a really cool crafting system where all races pretty much depended on each other and only the best items in the game were crafted (or modified). That's an aspect of MMO's that I haven't seen since.
