Hate to break it to you, but currently it is for NA and canada only. They did an IP block, that's why you cant play it. The only way to play it is to connect via proxy servers (as far as i know).

well, since you're going for caldari, achura with military + soldier is a good start. try getting your attributes level so you can easily train skills.

To the OP, i don't think you should be asking the question here. you should post it on the general discussion board imo.

anyway, if you can stand looking at anime-style cute graphics, then i would recommend mabinogi, it is similar to eve in some ways but the setting is fantasy. be warned tho it is still a korean grindfest.

played this game for a few days now. my impression/comments so far:

1 - for an f2p, it is a very neat game. compared to other f2p out there.

2 - a first glance, it looked like it is a sandbox mmo, but it's not. it does have some traits of a sandbox mmo though.

3 - as stated before, combat system is unique. but i wonder how it works in pvp?

4 - this game is stil in OB, thus there are a few bugs. eg. if you're using defence skill you're movement is hampered. but this doesnt apply on mobs (those damn wolves).

5 - dungeon exploring is fun, either you're doing solo or party (at least i'm enjoying it). but sometimes i question the purpose of it, just another grindfest or do you actually get something out of it.

Might I suggest Granado Espada. They just launched pre open beta a few days ago. It's free, you don't have anything to lose. Check it out if you can. Cheers.

that's pretty normal at weekends. server pop is high, the only thing you can do is login repeatedly.

for starters check their offical forum for builds.

here's a friendly tip. never ever do a merchant run without escort, even at 1 star. (1 star means that you are protected from thieves, and by thieves i mean real players). last time i check there's a bug that allow real players thieves to spawn npc thieves next to you and rob you blind at 1 star.

I must say that I am completely agree with the OP. I expect a lot from LOTRO, mainly because the movie was so good. Having tried open beta up till lvl 8, I am already getting bored because of  the lack of new experience. IMO middle-earth deserves better than this (WoW-esque gameplay? cmon dev). I think RPers would find LOTRO interesting at least.
