Whether you agree with him or not is purely based on opinion but to slam him so immaturely shows your true colours as a fanboi, I bet if he gave a postive review but still only got to lvl 3 you would all be jumping up and down and patting eachother on the back.

It was pretty clear to me that his review was based on first impression and that he was also interested to see how the final product would turn out for better or for worse.

And like someone said eariler if a game doesn't grab you in the first 15mins of gameplay than there is a serious problem. I see a lot of 'oh wait till you fight keeps', 'wait till your lvl 20+' and 'wait till you get to this area'. FUCKING BULLSHIT! An MMO should never be about sucking balls at the start and getting better later, in fact a company would much rather prefer it the other way around so as to keep subs.

To a lot of gamers first impressions are very important and if this reviewer had little fun in the time he played it shows that in his OPINION there is some problems Mythic is facing.

I think it may be a hit amongst the casual gamers.

I voted average, fundamentally its an ok game but it bores me to tears. Glad people are enjoying it. But for me its the end of the road for MMOs for a long time to come, but there are many non-MMOs I'm looking forward to on the horizon.

If you're speaking to the Europeans, terrorism already has been brought to their homeland. The Italians had the Red Brigade, the Spanish had the Basques, the Germans had Baader Meinhof, the French had Algerian seperatists, and the Brits had the IRA, in case you haven't heard. Just because this is new to the United States, doesn't mean that the rest of the world hasn't been there, done that.

Warcraft series

Starcraft series

They have provided hours and hours of entertainment for millions of gamers all around the world because of the quality they put into all their games. Some of you should show a little more respect to a company that has done nothing but great things for the gaming industry.

I am certainly no WoW fanboi, but I am a Blizzard fanboi, they may be a money-hungry company (like which aren't?) but the quality they put into all their games is almost unrivalled.

So yeah!

I know you only played for 20mins but can you give any sort of answer on how much content there is yet? Do you think there will be enough quests to be able to reach max level and always be occupied without having to resort to mob grinding?

Edit** Can you also tell me what the character creation is like (assuming you are allowed to?)

I don't think this game deserves to be called a MMORPG, more like MMOG, It's more dumbed down than WoW and you feel like you're being spoonfed the whole way. PvE is a joke, crafting is a joke, the ability system is a joke, you can just add your reknown points at whim if you don't like em, no penalty or anything. The only thing its got going for it is PvP, oh wait RvR (zerg vs zerg), meaning individual player skill goes out the door.

How the hell does this game scratch up to 2008? may of been great 4 years ago. Hell AoC was miles ahead of it, if it wasn't released a year early and if Failcom wasn't absolutely useless.

So OP if your looking for your more traditional MMO experience look elsewhere.

I'll give this game another shot in OB and see if much has changed but so far its a big MEH.

Do you have any idea of the repurcussions it would have on your own people? there arent that many people as sick and twisted as you who could actually carry out orders like that without suffering severe psychological disorders because of it.

 

And by your school of thought, everyone whome the US has ever fought against and defeated should have been wiped out. correct? Such as japan, germany, iraq, afganistan, uk and countless others. You do realise that if Japan had been wiped out in WW2 then the world would not be as technological right now, and that China would probably be ahead of the US in computers? or that without the UK the US would have very little foothold in Europe, inwhich case the USSR would have had full control over germany and would have very likely invaded and conquered the whole of europe post WW2.

I completely agree with what you're saying, the sad part is most of the people posting this type of nonsense are unfortunately adults trying to act tough on the internet as if they had the balls to shoot a defenseless child or woman.

Whenever threads like this are created its important to sift through the nonsensical posts and find some decent discussion. Too many people here are glorifying war and seem to be under the impression that it is imminent all around the world. Its not a simple matter of nuking (people love throwing this word around) or marching in and leveling the place, it never is.

I think a lot of people want a major war to start to make their boring lives a little more interesting.
