You can buy 2 accounts if you want to play more than 300 hours every month. This isn't about double standards, this is marketing and payment models. The thing is that nobody forces you to pay for something that you don't accept. And my whole point was simple: Everything is limited on the basic payment method.

If it was the same thing then you could play as long as you want and pay more based on how many hours you play. The reason Korea has time limit restrictions is because of the high profile deaths that have happened due to MMOs, the US will never put a restriction like that simply because of the capitalist society we live in. They may put in a pay scale but that like I said is different. It gives people a choice to play longer if they want to.

Oh and in Korea you can't just create another account. They check your KSSN and only allow one account per KSSN.

Smoking kills - maybe we should enforce how many cigarettes a person can smoke?

Drinking kills - maybe we should enfoce how much a person can drink?

Overeating kills - maybe we should enforce how much a person can eat?

Watching TV kills - maybe we should enforce how much TV a person can watch?

The point I am getting is that we are adults and we should be responsible for how we live our life. In the case of a child then the parents should be the one putting the restrictions not the game.

You say Darkfall has shoddy graphics and a bad UI? You're paying for a game with 8 year old graphics, horrible animations, poorly written linear gameplay, and a UI that looks like it was created by child. On top of all the bugs that made it practically unplayable. This is coming from a big name company with all the money in the world and a 6 month delay they announced only weeks before its initial release.

I'm sorry but this game will be released. Whether it will be good or not is unknown at this point but it will be released.

I hate people who bring up development time has why it will  never be released.

Some games take a while and still end up being great games. Get over yourself and go enjoy your simple little cookie cutter piece of crap you call an MMO.

I know it's not officially the beta but pretty exciting news.

 I feel bad for your situation but I am kind of surprised. I've never had any issues with a MMO launch before. It's been nothing but smooth just like every other launch I've played in. The only time I ever had issues was waiting in queue during WoW and even then I just switched to a lighter server and never had that problem again.

 I think it really depends on the group you are with. From 1-11 as order my teams won over 50% of the time. This is without tanks.

You don't need those tanks as much in PvP because people are intelligent enough to bypass them and go straight for the dps and healers.

Fact is there is a press release that was not released by Aventurine concerning the publishing deal with Audiovisual.  Unless you have evidence that discredits Audiovisual, im going to just stick with good ol' occam's razor on this one.

I thought so. You really consider the minor press release by an unknown (to the gaming community) to be some sort of proof that DF is coming out?

If so, I'll point to SOE's signed, announced deal with PE for G&H and despite the fact the pre-order boxes were in stores, the game never came out. (people also had actually played a beta, for better or worse)

DF is a long way from becoming a released game and credible proof is still sorely lacking.

Ahh I wasn't refering to online orders since they come from a different warehouse completely. They did offer a limited quantity online but each store is issued a certain amount based on their size and traffic volume so each will get a certain amount no matter what.

Best Buy does not let you preorder specific version and for that reason has yet to sell a single copy. I work for them so I know, they've been sitting in the warehouse since friday.

I have tried ranger and conq and I prefer my ranger so far. I haven't really done any PvP yet. Even though the US RP server is PVP their isn't much griefing going on so its nice, but I'm looking forward to large scale PVP down the road.

I work at best buy so I grabbed the preorder right when it came out. Does anyone know if it's possible to use multiple preorder codes? Also does gamestop require you to purchase the game before getting the code?

I have QX6850 quad, 4GB 6400 ram, 9800gx2, and 10,000rpm WD HDD and the new patch has given me mixed results. The performance has dropped from what it was before the patch but it isn't unplayable. The bugs and crashing are what really bug me.

I'm sure it's an old build or something or at least that's what they would say to this issue. It's probably cleaned up in the release client, least lets hope so.

I hope so, since I am enjoying the game.

I've only noticed it with robes so far so I'll probably skip playing cloth armor class if the issue isn't fixed.
