play it if you have nothing better to do.  This game is struggling to stay afloat, it has a playerbase, albeit not a very large one, actually very tiny and dedicated.  KK devs and GM's keep this game going with duct tape and luck.  It used to be a blast, but aint anymore....

if you want to cancel you had best do it a few days before the trial period is over, if you wait till the last day likely you'll get charged due to the overseas billing crap they use to charge players.  Click2pay or whatever it is now.  Be wary of having to use Credit card info for a trial.  they have changed their account options alot since the game was popular, used to be much easier to get on and play, now they have it so messed up they are itching at the chance to rip people out of their money. Honestly this game isnt worth the hassle.   Look at the games actual forums site, only the 10-20 hardcore players that still play the game post constantly there.  The population of that game left ages ago due to instability and lack of content upgrades that didnt run the game into the ground...buggy... i used to love that game, now i sigh at its hollowed out husk..

lol back when jedi was a profession of intelligence and careful decisions.  Sure the shiny glowing stick was fun to wield, but you had to be careful with it, or you would wind up in someones trophy case.  Now....lets all be jedi and take away the unique feeling you got from unlocking *not to mention the feeling of being watched, i had that all the time  after i unlocked* and going down a path that few could boast of......

Sigh.. If only the new players knew how awesome it was before the revamp....

Just got done dying on mustafar due to improper pve.  Went home to Lok where the city of Cion lies, placed my elder robe in my inventory and sat on my couch in the 3rd sub level of my new bunker house and looked around at all my belongings.  My holograms, my posters, my hand placed Oven that i pieced together out of many objects, my various plants, and all my wardrobe selections.  cant believe i spent 2 years with this game to see it go the way it has.  Shame on me for not seeing it coming.

  Saw a few of the many friends i had left online.  did a few /tells  and wished them well, and parted ways shortly after.  Cion is gone now, its Scarlet City as ive found out.  Tried the free trial with new characters just 2 days ago, and im really sad.  Quests in place of the good content we used to know.  Travel for hours alone, and see someone for a second, and they are gone before u get a word in.  I feel like im playing a single player game.  15 dollars for that....no thanks.. this game is a shadow of a dead giant.  SomeOnE needs to take a hard gander at what failure looks like.

vet since sept 03, loved what i played up until nov 15th 2005,  then the game no longer held interest for me.  STO looks to be the great mmo that will bring the mmorpg scene back to prominence.  NO money to earn, no endless grinding, great graphics, and hopefully a dev team that sticks to perfection throughout its quest to create a game that will redefine mmos for a long time to come... ill definitely be playing STO, and hopefully all my swg friends will be doing the same..Live long and prosper

All Religions have made their mistakes, its the ones who admit their mistakes and move on that will prevail.  Islam is not a bad religion, RADICAL ISLAM is the problem.  Extremists twist faith into tactical superiority and genocide...All for the root of man's universal evil, which is greed/power.... ISLAM is not free from it no matter how much faith they have.  The true islams practice peace and understanding, sharing and love.  Extremists view all other religions and races not with them in their particular view as a threat.  Shouldnt be that way.  If they are angry for the thousands of years of war from christians themselves and others,  its time to get over it.. Fighting a pointless war AGAIN will not solve anything.... ANOTHER BIG PROBLEM IS TRUST,, no one trusts anyone anymore... hitchhikers, folks of other races, other religions, no trust anymore.....I myself suffer from a lack of trust in my fellow man.... to bad too, probably lots of good people out there who have been shaken by the mistrust they feel everyday... so they to dont trust anyone anymore....viscious circle.... well im not buying a ps3 anyway, its a SOE product so it is boycotted by myself and probably many others..

Lawsuits against SOE are as pointless as playing SWG atm. lol anyone who actually sues a company about a game is in need of psychiatric treatment, i'm sorry.  ITS A DAMN GAME. STOP PLAYING IT.

Only wasting more money trying to win a case YOU WILL NOT WIN.. Only making yourselves (Plaintiffs) look more idiotic and foolish.  Think of the money you could be using to try other games. Grow up and MOVE ALONG........stop wasting your parents money to carry on with a useless gesture of defiance.  As for myself,  I am just saving my dough for a future MMO that looks worth a hoot.  One will come along sooner or later.

Need that MMO fix?  Just post on forums its cheaper..... Most MMo are just like each other atm.

someone mentioned spirit....the spirit didnt die, the Veterans who loved the CU and Pre CU took it with them... so it s still alive as our counterposts show, but as far as any spirit being in game. hah, its not spirit, its life support hooked up to a vegetable....... sooner or later we will be able to move on, but it wasnt just a game to me or many others, it was a damned lot of sub money that turned into garbage, and SOE threw it on our doorsteps....

STO will redefine gaming, it will shape itself based on the commitment to realism that its playerbase adheres to.  PVP is really unnecessary for good reasons, all stated above.  People who play MMORPGS solely for PVP need to buy BF2, Counterstrike and Huxley, when it finally comes out.  People who dont pvp are not carebears, they just rely on more than fighting each other to enjoy themselves. enuff said.
