I appreciate it that they didn't try to pull one over on us. Told us the truth.

I still don't have high hopes for this game but that is because of my WFRP, WFB and WH40K history (many years...started back in the day with Rogue Trader).

There is alot of potential with this game but I don't think they set it up to benefit from that spirit of Warhammer. I think this game is going to hinge on the PvP aspect. It's set up to focus on it. When we all get bored with the same fighting areas, another city or two will be released to give new ground to fight over with new quests.

This game seems to focus heavily on Guilds also. That is where I'm resting my hope (the little I have). The tools guilds are given will create the player character depth if the guilds use the tools in an imaginitive way.

I hope for the best for this game, though and will be trying it out.

And the game is very friendly concerning the creation of characters.

Sure, the avatar variations are not too great but they aren't bad, either.

Concerning those who like to try different characters before settling on one, each race starts in a different area. You don't have to go thru the same stuff again unless you pick the same race.

I tried WoW (like it but bored now), AoC (great combat but lacking something), and LoTRO (no meaningful PvP to add that feeling of danger) but really enjoy VG.

Fallen Earth does look like alot of fun. Been watching that one for a loooooong time.

I'm currently playing VG and having alot of fun with it. I just quit AoC and WoW...one I'm disappointed with and the other I'm bored with.

May reactivate account for LoTRO in anticipation for the Mines of Moria. The PvP isn't my style but it's there. PvE is excellent in my opinion.

I had hopes for CoS being good but not sure. Will wait to see what reasonable people say about it.

We need something new and well-known.  Something with alot of potential. Like Battletech Online or Heavy Gear Online.

It's pointless to hope that SOE goes back to pre-cu. Won't happen. I gave up already.

Here's to hoping The Old Republic is a smash hit.....and not a trainwreck in slow motion.

Still playing after about 2 weeks and still loving it.

Anyone on Xeth server looking for an adventuring friend? Name is Marillious Silvaro.  Elf Paladin...only level 12 at the moment. Had to try a few classes until I settled upon Paladin.

I've noticed quite a few people online and all were friendly. I also try to be friendly by buffing anyone nearby to help them out.

 Waiting with anticipation.

Don't ease up on them, Jestor!

Gamefreek, freedom of speech does not apply to a privately owned website. Likewise, you can't come onto anyones property and start spewing all kinds of speech. Doesn't work that way.

Went thru quite a few alts myself until I found what is fun and exciting. Paladin for me.

Oh, MagicBush...you just wandered into a shooting gallery.

These people don't care if you enjoy the game or not...they will flame you for not being as smart as they are.

I enjoy the game, too. But, I quit until they fix it. If they fix it. Vanguard is satisfying at the moment.

 To each their own.

My goodness. Some of you are so pathetic in your written despite towards those who enjoy the game.

What concern is it of yours? It's their money, not yours. I stopped paying my monthly fee and won't return unless it improves. I'm not holding out much hope for WAR.  Vanguard is fun for me right now.

But, lay off the people that enjoy the game. Your hate towards them makes no sense.

I don't like the sound of that. Sounding less and less like the dark, gritty work of Warhammer where Chaos lurks everywhere.

They are departing from the foundation of the Warhammer world in order to make it work. I hope I'm wrong.

I finally was able to get the game downloaded and played without a CTD. Visited the tech forums and solved that problem quickly.

I also started at launch and didn't enjoy it too much. The bugs and other things like previous posters stated.

The starting quests were kind of blah to me this weekend. But, once I left the starting area I am having much more fun now. Last time I played a HE Ranger. This time playing HE Paladin. Having a blast.

Plus I'm into it because I still have a whole world to explore...didn't get very far at all the first time around.

I say Mythic should take their time and do it right. I can understand things having to be cut but the game is already not resembling Warhammer that much.

I believe it should have been done differently but oh well. No game producer ever makes their game to please all the people. They have to make it work.

Will still try it out but I have my doubts. I'm used to the dark and gritty world infested with Chaos. Dark horror fantasy. This doesn't resemble that.

Funny how some will cut down other games and call those who support those other games as fanbois. But, it doesn't apply to them. I say play what is fun to you and screw what other people say. I hope Warhammer does turn out to be fun for me. We will see.

 That is a big relief!

It didn't make sense to me that so many cities would be ripped from the game. That would leave massive holes in the game....quest and zone wise.

Big sigh of relief. My fears are assuaged!

Well, I am saddened by the news. But, my White Lion is still in there.

I don't know what to think right now. First thing that hit me was 'here we go again'...just like all the other games out there that turn out to be a disappointment.

But, at least they were honest and told us up front. I can respect that. I will prolly still get the game upon release...unless more bad news hits us. Then I will wait. Depressing.

I left VG for the same reason just about everyone else did, also.

Hearing the good things about it has me wanting to try it again.

I have one problem I can't get resolved. I don't remember my username and password. I tried to get it emailed to me but my email has changed since then. Am I screwed and just need to go buy another copy?

Niblix is on a crusade to rid the world of AoC. He just can't stand it that someone else is spending their cash to play a game they like. Instead of answering his clarion call.

Yeah, I like AoC. Might be different in a month or so or even less. But, I've experienced all kinds of disappointments in every game I've played. Though I do still enjoy them. I'm not going to sit here and blast people who are playing a game they enjoy. That's obnoxious.
