There's nothing wrong with liking a game at all. It's your money and your time. No matter what game you decide to play, those who don't like the game for whatever reason, are going to blast you for playing it...not all, just a few vocal idjits. I've played many games and liked a few and have seen the vocal idjits blast people over all of them. I've enjoyed WoW, VG, SWG, AoC, EVE, EaB, EQII and now WAR. And there are others I played but I can't think of them now. If someone enjoys WAR, that's fine. If not, they can tell us why and then move on instead of getting into a childish fight with those who like it. |

I'm on Avelorn also. Chaos, name of Kronn. I've set some macros up with taunts for the goodies out there. I've not had any problems in groups and this is the first time since the early days of SWG that I've actually enjoyed pvp. I never could get into it much with other games. I have to give kudos to the goodies though. I got had and ganked at one time. Some warrior priest came at us and then took off running. I, being Chaos, yelled insults straight from the mouth of Tzeentch and took off after him. Well, he led me along the beach and turned around and laughed at me. Then all his buddies came running out of hiding and proceeded to beat the snot out of me. Even though I got clobbered, it was fun. |

Things happen. There is no way to accurately predict what will go wrong when hundreds of thousands of MMORPG freaks get together in someones world. Like my surprise when I was able to find a way on top of a tall hill where no one was supposed to be. Had to be careful though to not fall between the gaps in the terrain. |

I don't have the problems the OP is mentioning. My only probs concern customization and that isn't a biggie. I think the OP is getting impatient in game and causing all the problems to himself. Operator headspace. |

Crunchyblack, you are correct. Sorry. I just figured out the dye part. Of course it doesn't work on starter gear. But, I now look unique compared to everyone else. I was wrong there, but I still would like to see more customisation concerning hair, beard, scars, height, etc. At first I wasn't terribly impressed with this game. But, the more I am learning about it the better it is becoming for me. I decided to stick with the Warrior Priest. I love this character. The region scenarios are a blast. Still learning about Renown. And the lore book or whatever it is called is pretty cool, too. The more you play, the more lore is revealed to you. Nice touch. |

Yes, open season on gold sellers would be awesome! With the ability to fully loot their corpse. |

Yeah, too many servers. But, that really doesn't bother me. I'm really enjoying the game and played some scenarios against other players. Fun. I liked it. My only complaints so far is lack of character customization. And this is magnified by the lack of character classes for each race. I wanted so much to be a Witch Hunter but when I got into the game and saw 20 of them running around just in my area and they all looked the same....bleh! So off I went to create a Warrior Priest. I saw about 10 of them running around at the start all looking the same. But, not as bad as the horde of Witch Hunters for humans or the horde of Witch Elves for the Dark Elves. For the Gobbos, all the squigs jumping around was heart breaking. I think the cutting of classes may have been a mistake or the non-inclusion of more classes was a mistake. Need more character customization. But, so far, other than those things listed above, I'm having a blast. |

I will return to AoC if it improves. I love the Conan story and thought this game has great potential. Until then, it's Warhammer for me. And LoTRO. I just need a good Sci-Fi fix. |

I appreciate it that they didn't try to pull one over on us. Told us the truth. I still don't have high hopes for this game but that is because of my WFRP, WFB and WH40K history (many years...started back in the day with Rogue Trader). There is alot of potential with this game but I don't think they set it up to benefit from that spirit of Warhammer. I think this game is going to hinge on the PvP aspect. It's set up to focus on it. When we all get bored with the same fighting areas, another city or two will be released to give new ground to fight over with new quests. This game seems to focus heavily on Guilds also. That is where I'm resting my hope (the little I have). The tools guilds are given will create the player character depth if the guilds use the tools in an imaginitive way. I hope for the best for this game, though and will be trying it out. |

And the game is very friendly concerning the creation of characters. Sure, the avatar variations are not too great but they aren't bad, either. Concerning those who like to try different characters before settling on one, each race starts in a different area. You don't have to go thru the same stuff again unless you pick the same race. I tried WoW (like it but bored now), AoC (great combat but lacking something), and LoTRO (no meaningful PvP to add that feeling of danger) but really enjoy VG. |

Fallen Earth does look like alot of fun. Been watching that one for a loooooong time. I'm currently playing VG and having alot of fun with it. I just quit AoC and WoW...one I'm disappointed with and the other I'm bored with. May reactivate account for LoTRO in anticipation for the Mines of Moria. The PvP isn't my style but it's there. PvE is excellent in my opinion. I had hopes for CoS being good but not sure. Will wait to see what reasonable people say about it. |

It's pointless to hope that SOE goes back to pre-cu. Won't happen. I gave up already. Here's to hoping The Old Republic is a smash hit.....and not a trainwreck in slow motion. |

Still playing after about 2 weeks and still loving it. Anyone on Xeth server looking for an adventuring friend? Name is Marillious Silvaro. Elf Paladin...only level 12 at the moment. Had to try a few classes until I settled upon Paladin. I've noticed quite a few people online and all were friendly. I also try to be friendly by buffing anyone nearby to help them out. |

Gamefreek, freedom of speech does not apply to a privately owned website. Likewise, you can't come onto anyones property and start spewing all kinds of speech. Doesn't work that way. |
