Both really. Im not an avid Star Wars fan (actually I prefer Star Trek) I really like Star Wars and  the potential of this game looks great. I loved KoTOR 1&2, so ill have to wait and see more before I make up my mind completely. But to be honest if the game-play is not there then I will not bother.

If done right it will be a huge sucsess. WoW killer?? not likely , but might pull a few million subs or more.

I see that WAR is down to an all time low today as well as yesterday. I have never seen that player number below 10000 and now it is suddenly on it's way to 8000. Also if I look on the trends of that Hoursplayed curve it looks very depressing. I am no math genious but I do see a drop, which is close to -25% gaming over the last two weeks. WTF is this? Does this mean that people are really quitting already?

Last thing. I also have seen server population status go down to low and medium for all/most servers. I know MJ made some comments on that server population cap was increased and that is part of the explanation. But looking on all these other indicators I think he is not telling us the full truth. What are your thoughts on this? Is Michael Jacobs lieing? If so my patience with this guy start to run out.

Xfire does not mean crap for ANY games population numbers. Im sick of people use this crap to discredit ANY game whether it be AoC, WAR, or any other game. I have about 30 friends who play mmo;s and NOT ONE of them uses Xfire. So seriously take your gloom and doom elsewhere please.
 

The gameing industry is on the increase not Delcine. It has outsold the movie industry for the past several years and not by a little bit either. Game sales are WAY up, because of economic issues and high gas prices. People are  buying games and staying home and playing. Games are an escape and a cheap means of entertainment (i know 60 bucks on average isn't cheap but it is compaired to going to a movie with the wife and if you have kids your out close to 100 bucks). Quality wise that's a matter of opinion, but I think peoples expectations of games as of late are way to high, but that's my opinion and I cant speak for anyone else. Some great games have came out over the past few years and more are on the way. We may be in a rut in new innovations in some gameing catagories, but you can bet there will be a break through in the near future.

Its early and hopefully before the game comes out they tweek it a bit.

Im going to hold off on forming an opinion until I get more info on the game. It could go either way at this point , and I simply do not know enough to take an educated stance on the game.

I think people expect to much from MMO's these days. Its sad, but true.

The gameing industry will most likely boom as people will stay home more and pass the time with games. MMO's are a bargain after the initial cost of the game the monthly sub is far cheaper than buying a new game.

Hummm not a troll post.. This coming from the guy who has posted multiple times that Darkfall is the last true hope for MMOS..

They are working on putting in the others or mabey something else, but as to when is anyones guess.
