Never saw a company talk about shipped copies before.  It's meaningless.   What peoples want to know is how much subs the game have.   Funcom is playing with numbers in hope of luring more peoples in.  

But the real question is, DID YOU HAD A GOOD DAY OR NOT ?

Stop making numbers of your asses.  Shipped copies are more even meaningless they sold one.  It only means they are TONS of copies SITTING on shelves not being bought.

I'm back to WOW after that horrible AOC experience.   I'm enjoying myself again, was wondering, do you think WAR will be release before Wotlk ?

When will peoples understand that SOLD copies are NOT equal to SUBSCRIBERS.

Grats on the 1 millions sold.   However it will means noting if MOST of them are gone after the first month.

Will they just re-open it in the state it was before ?   What will be the point of this ?  I mean i loved the game when i was on the newbie island, but once you leave, game sucks.  Unless they make drastic changes to the experience after the newbie island, i dont see why they should re-opne this game....

I'm wondering in a year, a new player installing the game will have to download how many gigs of patches before being able to play.  Talk about wasting a whole month of bandwith in a single day to patch a game.

WOW : 10 Millions subscribers  Peoples who bought the game : probably 3-4 times that.

AOC : 700k bought the game.  Numbers of subscribers : UNKNOWN !

Comparing the 2 is just plain ridiculous.

You actually give mmorpg.com games rating credibilty ?

Peoples make numerous accounts to either rate game they hate all 1's, or 10's for those they like.

MMORPG.COM being paid by developpers to review their games.

Personally i just come here for the forums and news.

Only read the title of your post, can't possibly try to read that wall.   Ugliest board, maybe, but what do you expect from a sh@tty game like that ?   Paying 50$ to buy sh@t aint going to make peoples happy.

Never gave real credibility to mmorpg.com game rating.  Seems every new games being released always get the no. 1 spot for a few weeks.   But it's nice to see that it's gone from the number 1 spot.

If you look at the splash screen when you type www.worldofwarcraft.com, it look spacy, i doubt it will be diablo, it's look a lot like starcraft.

It was grindy back when it launch.  Back then with nothing to do but missions, my first level 200 character (an engineer), took 40 days played.   These days with SL it's much quicker.   I've seen peoples level from 1-200 in about 7 days played.   But you need to know what your doing, know the game mechanics well and have money.

Just found out you can use this offer with veteran accounts too, all you need to do is re-activate your account and you'll have the option to upgrade to all the expansions for 7$.  It's neat since they are already offering a free 30 days come back offer to old players.  So i just upgraded my 2 accounts will all the expansions for 14$, and i have 37 days free, very good stuff.

Good timing, my sub was running out on the 28th, guess i'll stay 1 more month
