It's all instance, it's exactly like Guild Wars (without PVP) or a single player game with an online option.  Why pay 15$ per month for that ?

I'm not gonna play a monthly fee for an all instance game. 

It's some sort of a promotional link, see that number at the end of the link, that's probalby means the guy gets money for each person clicking it.

Games and especially online games are not the place to advertise your sexual orientation.  It goes the same with things like religion.  If you can't live with that, don't play.

I played a few hours during the week end.  It's a fun game but i don't see myself paying 15$ per month for this.

I agree.  Half the time i try to come to this site it's either not responding or very very very slow.  Just posting a message sometime the site will hang for over a min.

Never done it, but happens to me one time in Asheron's Call.  It was very early in the game probably 2-3 months after launch.  My patron had just gave me a brand new and shinny mattie coat.

Someone come to me and ask me if i knew how to double the Armor Rating of the coat.  Being relatively new to the game i thought well maybe it's possible, i said no and he says to click the coat and type a word, i don't remember which word, but one of the letter was use to drop the item to the ground.  

Well guess what happened, i started typing and next thing i knew my coat drop on the ground and the guy took it from me.  Newbie mistake.

Totally new to the game, i have no clue what realm to go or what class to choose.  I'd like to know your opinions.  What in general is considered a good newbie/easy class for begginer ?

Well guys you got me too.  I'm downloading the game, never played it before.  I'll post my comments later.

I stopped reading after seeing so many 1's.  LOL it's not because something is bad that you need to put 1's on it.  1 means it's the worst of the worst. 

1- Graphics : You give a 4 based on what ?  These graphics are Warcraft like, they are fine for that game.  It would'nt be World of Warcraft if the graphics we're like EQ2.  I give WOW graphics a 8.

2- Combat : Once again i find your score too low.  It's not perfect but it doesnt deserve a 5, i give combat in general a score of 8.

3- Crafting : For once i agree with you, crafting is a joke in WOW.  When you have played game like EQ2 or Anarchy Online, you know what real crafting is. I agree with your score of 4.  

4- Community : Yes i agree with you it's bad.  And your comments about WOW players not being MMORPG vets is funny.  How do you expect a game with 5 Millions players to be filled with a majority of vets ?  The community is bad yes, but not to the point of giving it a 1.   My score for the community is 5

5- PVP  : First i'm not a PVP fan but i did a little bit of it when i was playing along with some raids.  It's not the best BUT it's not not the worst either.   Giving it a 1 again is ridiculous.   My score for PVP is 6.

6- Animation/Emote : I don't understand your comment here.  What do you expect your paladin to do when using his sword ?  Make a dance between each throw ?  Give me a break, have you played something else but Paladins ?  Giving this a 1 is a joke.  My score : 7

7- Game Economy : Depends on what server you are, i tried a few and i noticed some major difference.   Maybe you were unlucky on your server, i never had any problem find good stuff at an OK price on my.   Once again you give 1 which is way too low.  My score is : 5

8- Sound :  It's not the best sound but once again FAR from deserving a 1.  My score : 6

9 - Immersive factor : When you have 5M players after 1 year, what else can you say, they deserve the highest scrore on that :  I give them 10

10- Quest : I doN't agree with you on quests, that's weird eh.  Quests are fun i agree but they often get repetitive and at some stage in the game (i rememeber between 45-55) i had very few quests to do.  I give a score of 7 on the quest section.

So my score for WOW is : 70% and i think it's a fairly accurate score.

Played a few hours so far.  Well look like i'll pass on this one.   I prefer controlling a human character over a car.   I don't like how you have to steer and use the mouse to target all at the same time.   Game also seems to be quiet redundant, i did a few quests and beside the go kill X amount of mob Y there is not much to do.

Fixer GA was nice before SL, Grid Armor is useless in Shadowlands.

I'm very suprised by this number.  All the feedbacks i'm reading are not really positive.

I love MMORPG, and i love to solo.  Does that sound so contradictory to you ?  The main reason why MMORPG are fun (for me) is because of the community.  Being part of a large community of peoples enjoying the same thing is great.  Even better, on a smaller scale, being part of a guild is what make MMORPGS fun.

Peoples want to solo in a MMORPG yes but MOST importantly what they want is being able to do something without wasting hours trying to find peoples to group with.   Don't get me wrong here, i'm not saying it should be SOLO only, but the solo game of a MMORPG should be a big part of a game.   Most MMORPG players are casual players and they don't want to have to waste hours getting in groups each time they log to play.

MMORPGS are not played because they are solo or group friendly but because peoples like playing a game in a community.  Single player games are boring to me, not because you can't team but because i have no one to interact with.

I hope so !  So many deceptions recently, Dark and Light, D&D, we need a good MMORPG soon !  I have confidence in Funcom, Anarchy Online is an awesome game, i hope they will do great with Conan.   It sure look great now, i hope it stays that way.

Definetively the pet classes.  I playing this game since launch.   I played an Engi to 200, a crat up to 185, Mp to 150 and several other classe all between 100 and 150.

Just to give you an example around level 120 (can even be done earlier) an Engi can cast the 200 slayer (with MP buffs) and with it you can do QL 200 missions.   Now you know a class that can do QL 200 missions solo at level 120 ? 

But pet classes are not for everyone, the best soloers after that are those that have already been mentioned, MA, Adventurer, even Keeper solo pretty good (with a good weapon).   But the easiest one these 3 is the MA because you don't have to bother about getting a weapon which can be very expansive.
