Ok i've downloaded the trial version, played with it a bit, maybe an hour, then un-installed it.  I dont see the point of it ?   You can create monsters, ok, then what ?   You make it dance in the small arena, then what ?   I just dont see the point.

It's been raising in the last months only based on the AOC hype.  Now reality is taking over.

Havent played the game in like 6 months.  Now i go on the forum and all i read is druid and pallies are best healers, druids tank are better than warriors.  I was thinking of re-rolling a priest and i'm wondering if i'm not making a mistake.

I liked GW a lot, but got burned out because of the pve aspect.  After a while it gets redundant, you know exactly what to expect, Mob A will ALWAYS be a location X, mob B at location Z, etc...  I'm not a big PVP fan but i must say GW is one of the best in that category.

Since they are no trial yet, i assume these gold farmers are advertising on legit accounts (paid 50$ each).  So they are kinda taking a huge economic risk doing that, i'm pretty sure FC will take care of them in a near future, right now they have their hands fulls with fixing the game, i guess that's why it as escalated to such a big problem.   When gold farmers will get all their accounts banned and have to pay 50$ back, maybe it will makes them slowdown the spam.   But yeah i'm kinda suprised to see that amount of gold spammers within a game with no trial.

I can live with hype and promises.  But when you write something on the game boxe and it's not there, it's called fraudulent representation.  

If your going to promise the moon, print a moon picture on the box, write on the box, MOON INCLUDED and you get nothing but an handful of moon dust, you have a reason to be pissed.

Hard to believe you got banned for that, maybe it's for something else.

I have no problem with digital product being made available.   What i dont understand is why they charge the same price ?   I'm pretty sure when you buy a game in a store, a part of teh 50$ is to pay the cost of making the cd, the box, the manuals, why should i pay 50$ to get a single file ?  IMO digital download game price should be a good 20-25% cheaper then boxed one's.

I am enjoying the game, the 80 or so guild members are enjoying the game and the hundreds of players I see running around me are probably enjoying the game.  Face reality, its one of the biggest selling games of all time and thousands of people really enjoy it. 

 

You really should stop defending this shitty ass game and company.

 

Point #1 - Most Games don't need 2 patches a week on release. MOST games aren't that messed up. A few were that messed up, but not many. Most "Good" games patch once a week on a schedule. Reason for this is they pretty much had the game release ready when it was put on a shelf. They didn't stick it on the shelves 6 months early and patch like the mad scientist in hopes of retaining subs.

Point #2 - Quit trying to cover for FC on itemization, it makes you not look so smart. The game has shit armor sets. Honestly adding armor to the game should be the last thing on FC's mind right now, it should be fixing the damn thing out of beta first. Who gives 2 shits about 12 new armor sets. They will look the same just be a diff variation of orange, green or red or some shit. Same model I would assume.

Point #3 - Don't compare AoC to Vanguard.   Its like comparing a stinky turd to a horrible stinky turd. If your comparing a game down to vanguards release, then it really is shitty. I always find it funny when people say "Oh yeah but it's better than Vanguard at release!"... SWEET! you just compared it to the worst MMO Launch in history. GRATZ! I am happy it is better than that!

Point #4 - I am super happy you enjoy AoC. and all these other thousands that are enjoying. It just keeps you out of the good games the rest of us are playing. Most people have better things to do with their time and money than give it to a company to play an open beta, in the same drab ass brown suit of armor.

I wont go on anymore, I am so tired of talking about this game I could vomit.

I have cancel the game already, but i can't help myself but keep coming back to read how Funcom is driving themself more and more deeper with each patch they release.   The necro one's is laughable, first they buff them saying they need to do more dps, then 4 days later they revert them back to what they were.   It's laughable.  Cant wait for the next episode.

Going to suprise lots of peoples, here, i canceled also.  Feel i've been robbed 50$.

Itemization is a joke. Most people look identical and wear brown paper bags.

This isnt World Of Warcraft. Im sorry if you wnat to have some staff with flying stones floating around and some armor that has flames and dragons or something gay imo.

 

Customer Service is a joke and for the most part non-existent. Petitions take days to resolve and get deleted. There is hardly any GM support.

Again, going to compare WoW with this. When i played WoW, it sometimes took a week just to get a GM to talk to me.

 

Gold Spammers are becoming rampant already. I have petitioned names and nothing is done. I still get tells and emails from people I reported a week ago.

What game doesnt have Gold Spammers? Goto SW in WoW and 90% of your chatlog will be composed of people with names of 'sadasfafgad' spaming services.

 

You know it takes all kind of peoples to make this world.  It always amaze me that if someone post that he like to eat poop, 99% of them will reply that he is a sick individual, but there will always be a 1% to say that they like poop also.
