I hope they don't got he way of marvel vs capcom.  That play style is way too frantic.  There are combos coming out of nowhere and everything is happening in the air.  That whole aspect of it turned me off of those games.  I personally prefer the style of Third Strike.  It's slower, more precise.  It gives you a chance to think and not just spam memorized button combinations till one of them hits and you just chain off of it till the cows come home.

I'm not gonna jump in on this one better then the other crap but just want to point out that when I played CS a while back I played on a server that had a few girls/women playing and I found that they were more competitive and cursed like sailors.  Some of the stuff that I heard on the mic really threw me for a loop.  Either I was used to hearing it from the guys and this came across as something out of the ordinary or the guys never spat swear words one after another when they died.  I'm strongly leaning toward the second thing.

I figured it was kind of like the alignment of your car, if you don't get a replacement even a non-functional one you might pull to one side...

Serious question

Did you have to get an implant?  I ask because supposedly it is done for psychological reasons.

Yeah... I'm done paying for chat rooms.  I stuck around in WoW for longer then I should but then just ended up adding the people from my friends list to my msn and talked there.  Most of them are done with wow as well..

Same happened with DAoC.  In the end I was playing it just so that I could stay in touch with certain people.  Eventually everybody moved over to msn or ICQ or what have you and stopped playing.

From now on when I realize I'm just logging on for chatting I'm done.

How bout you go ahead and give them more money while I pay the regular price and just laugh at you.  OR better yet, how bout you just give me the $5 extra you seem to have rolling around in your pocket.  Because if you ask me I've done just as much as the gaming industry in deserving your money.

Go take an economics class and read up on inflation and why it happens.  In the end you've made some stupid posts in the past and this one is no exception.  All those Snickers must be keeping you up at night and that's where you find the time to exercise your backward thinking while on a sugar high.

Why don't you just walk into 7eleven and give them $6 for the snickers?  You obviously think that people should pay for quality and you think so highly of snickers.  Better yet why not go ahead and make it an even $10?

I hope AoC takes the way of DAoC.  The potential for soloing was there.  You could do it if you wanted to and you could make headway exp wise.  Grouping however was better, it was faster, more efficient.  It was also a bit more fun because there were other people with whom you could joke around with and make time fly by.

I would suggest you check the camelot herald for details.  I have never played on euro servers but from what I've heard the population is somewhat lacking.

If you ask me there does not need to be some contrived excuse of flag capturing to make me want to kill other people.  I feel it does not fit with the lore of any mmorpg game.  I'd like them to keep this to a war scenario.  I'm there to fight people because they're invading my territory, not because they have captured my flag or taken control of some spot on the map that has no impact on the general world in any way shape or form.

Well the main difference between classic and normal server is this

- Classic server has no ToA expansion

- Buffs are limited to group which means that you can't have a buffbot sitting at the realm gate while you're out there fully buffed killing contently.  For the buffs to work the buff bot has to be in your group and there is also range on them too.  This is the main reason people purchase buff potions and use them on the Classic servers.

That's about it.  Whatever else you find on normal servers you'll find on classics.  I played on Classics for quite some time when ToA was released.  I've also quit and reactivated twice and both times I've returned to the classics.  This was up until June of this year.

Somehow i get the feeling we'll never know unless the studio that produced that montage takes the actual sounds and releases them as an mp3 file.  I get the feeling that this was one of those custom made things intended for only this purpose.  They didn't think about future uses, or just frankly don't care what happens afterwards.

I how ever would like to see it released in mp3 format so that I can throw it up and listen to it every so often.

It's a comparison of Devil May Cry on both the ps3 and xbox done on a split screen sort of fashion but that's not why I'm posting.

The music that runs in the background is what I'm interested in.  I was wondering if anybody knew of more stuff like this and could perhaps point me in the direction.  I was told by one person that it might be a jungle/house type of thing and wanted a second, third and if possible fourth opinion.

You should be able to get into the game itself and not just the test server.  Problem is I don't know how to fix  your problem.  Might want to contact customer support

Being in such close proximity with the US I'm afraid I'm gonna get stuck with the censored version which if you ask me takes away from the ideas I have of how it should be.

It's all explained there for your benifit.

you get in, you do your stuff, and you get out.  You can play it for 20 minutes on your lunch break or you can play it for 2 hours after work and no matter how little time you imput into it you never really lag behind anybody.  It's not heavy on the need for items and if you want to kill some people cue up and the throw you into a group and a'hackin you will go.

Even though I don't play it anymore that's what I think makes it so good.  You can get into it, quick and out of it quick and still feel like you did something worth while.

DAOC for casters at least had it where Intel was for mana pool and damage, and Dexterity was for casting speed. 

For melee strength was for damage and dexterity was for evasion and blocking.  On top of that there was a charisma stat for all the bards/minstrels/skalds (the music classes) as well as Piety for the priests/ healers and the god oriented midgard realm where the casters were tied to gods and got damage/mana boosts from piety.  I guess it was their way to represent how in touch you were with your deity.

And here I thought at least one of those two questions would be how to turn off his CAPS-LOC.... go figure

If at any point you had a character there it will be there no matter what.  Mythic doesn't delete characters or remove accounts so I think you'll be fine.
