It's using the old daoc engine? where did you see/hear this? it sure as heck dosn't look like it...

They have droves of races they can add lol... I'm sure they will figure it out

I would bet that Warhammer Online will be better than WoW in almost every way.

Warhammer has been around since...1983? 82? somthing like that......has a LOT of books written on it and it's world and it's everything....much much more depth to W.A.R than WoW will ever have. :)

the 1st expansion to this game is just NOW coming out at the END of 06.

Why?

this is a really STUPID thing to do, by the time it actually comes out, there will be a ton of new MMO's out, I don't see how they expect to survive when it takes them 2 - 3 years to advance the game, its content and story.

Well I don't believe the reasoning behind the gender/class thing has much to do with performance, since the game will likely have options to play on lower or higher graphic settings, these days customization and diversity has very little to do with questionable performance.

On the ArchLord forums (as well as the lore) states why (for the time being) the classes are determined by gender.

Also on the forums, they said that character customization will be alot better than people will expect it to be when the game is released, as well as having *other* options after your character is created, or somthing like that. hehe

They said somthing about it being seamless with select instanced areas...sort of like WoW I guess?

LoL I just hope they don't let ArchLord's screw everything up economy-wise and such...

Well they added more hair and face and color options since beta.

It's also not finished in the sense they havent added any of the extra textures and graphical enhancements. So...

And Lineage II wins, easily :P

The point of Lineage II was not for the races to fight and be enemies, it was  in fact to form alliances, and come together with each race of a different 'Lineage' (see the lore) and put aside the differences in each 'Lineage' to battle the greater evil coming onto the world (see the chronicals)

ArchLord is similar in mechanics, appearance, but still a very different concept.

Lineage II is an excellent game. and ArchLord will likely be excellent too. But don't excpect it to be Lineage III lol. And on that note...Lineage III is officialy in development according to NCsoft.

Actually I have played on and off since beta. L2 has improved in LOTS of ways since then. <3

me and my fiance got this game cuz we were bored. I never played CoH but CoV is REALLY fun!!!

In WoW they can't kill you and take your stuff. Atleast not if you playo n the Normal servers or RP servers. :) Try it out on the Normal or RP servers and you will not have to worry about that.

lol don't commit suicide. :P Look at Hero's Journey that will be a good game. =D But....I'm sure if you liked L2 you will like this.
